Hi guys, hopefully I've gotten the right section. I'm having this irritating issue that I cannot seem to solve.

I have a DS212J connected via ethernet to my Macbook Pro El Capitan and I use wireless to connect to my router (and internet).

I've setup the network service order as Ethernet first, Wireless third. But for the life of me my Synology Assistant app cannot see the Synology device as long as the Wireless is turned on and connected. If I turn off Wireless my Mac sees and works with the Synology without any issues whatsoever. The Synology Assistant app works like a dream too.

My issue is I cannot seem to get it to work at the same time - Wireless to internet and ethernet to Synology.

I've tried searching for a possible solution online and have contacted the Synology support folks but nothing works.

Anyone with a similar setup and has advice for me?
