They look like they are pour molded or something...so soft and round (yea yea, boobies) but really that fusionwerks doesnt have any sleek and sharp lines...looks like it was molded, sanded, buffed and painted

Sorry man. I fail to see what that had to do with my reply to your post. If you didn't get the point I will express it this way. The experience that people are having who have been customers of element for 40 days may be quite different that the experiences of someone who has been a client for 48hrs. The first Element thread reached almost 3000 posts. True, a lot of it was bitching but you also got to see others experiences with Element. I'm glad your pre-order is giving you a warm fuzzing feeling deep down. I do really hope that lasts.
I would imagine now that a lot of bugs have been worked out that new clients will have a better experiences than early adopters.

But I also ordered the Glasgow/LTD Tools case...

and am awaiting the Speck Pixelskin HD -- which may be the best out of the entire lot.

I ordered the Speck Pixelskin as my free one from Apple. You Sir have good taste:D
 
I am finding mine excellent, easily 20% better than my 3G. What actual usage is there with you? For me I can get 7 hours in an 18 hour period, 2.5 of that being talk time, push email on with some 70 emails being pushed in that period. The balance is browsing over 3G.

I have 4 email accounts all being pushed, plus I use bluetooth and wifi all the time. I turned off all push this morning and now check manually. It helped a lot because it says I have 78% . Thats after 5 1/2 hours of light to moderate use. Much better than before. I would hate to exchange it. I'm totally digging This SGP matte skin kit. It's wicked.

I talked to vapor (got a reply one day later, and then another reply an hour later) asking a few questions, including the availibility of the black/orange looking case on the ilounge review. Well that case is the solar yellow (Ilounge said this case would not be up for sale, but it seems like it is). So anyone who wants that case, like it, its black/solar yellow.

And i think that's a completely fair statement.I also don't think YOU have abused this thread like others. Its great that people are discussing the craftsman-ship etc. My point is that for those of you who pre ordered this case and have had bad service (no color change etc and feel that your product is inferior. Send it back. Get a refund. Tell them why. Hell even posting about it on here is cool. Because it's a valid point, in fact I had not considered it until you brought it up with your earlier posts. My point though, is that some posts lead to intelligent discussion. Some do not. Some people pollute this board with comments about people sitting in garages, taking their money and doing nothing about it.

It's just people need to consider this company has previously produced excellent product. They are obviously overwhelmed. There is no reason to expect that they won't improve. If you can't handle getting the short end of the stick, pull out. Take your money and come back (which I would, if I felt that way). Because filling this thread with how cheated you feel does nothing.

haha sorry for not being clear, but i wouldnt of get the case if i couldnt get that orange (solar yellow) color. Just wanted to inform everyone who is in the same boat as me.

Yay! It's good to see Element putting out some good customer service.

Unlike many people here, I think Element is doing incredibly well considering they're a "Mom and Pop" shop (despite some disappointing experiences). My order is somewhere in the 5k. That's just INSANE for such a small business. Guys, if it costs them only half that to make... that's $400,000 net income on the vapor alone at 5k units and $200,000 profit. Of course, that's speculation, but... I think they're doing well with being such a small business. I had heard some things about them not doing so good, so I just hope this keeps them in bussiness. :D

I think today ill purchase the black/solar yellow. I was told "later this year" you will be able to buy pieces to change it up, so ill buy a black side piece also later this year.

I am looking forward to that too so I could do a custom engraving. :D I pretty much begged for them not to put the element case/vapor engraving on the case (which the FAQ says you could request) as I checked out. So I am hoping Adam might contact me about that.
 
I know people expected fast emails even when there was no trace of the case but I think we should understand them, over 5000 orders and God knows how many messages they received daily, though we had to right to doubt a little but what kept my faith are their previous products.
I like the black/solar or orange a lot! It's smoking :D
I think I am getting the black/red too.
I saw the silver/silver and black/silver AND silver/black and those are so cool too. I like this case a lot and if there are any signal issues I think it can be resolved with some kind of side body protection film (I know the case doesn't touch the antenna) . Aluminium doesn't interfere with the signal as much as titanium would but something may be happening...
