What modifications are you talking about?

jpetticrew not mad at all, just getting back to the thread... Modifications that have proven helpful in retaining signal strength would include insulating the Vapor4 from the antenna by either lining the inside of the frame & cap (shown with pin-striping tape) of the Vapor4 or applying Lucky Labs on the antenna. Also padding the inside of the frame / cap with your choice of mounting tape. I use 3M VHB Heavy Duty Mounting Tape - 5952. Take a lOOk through the thread, lots of info on different methods to achieve the insulation
