Element Vapor Case

I own both and the red is my go to case for everyday..the graphite is more subtle, the red jumps out at you...depends on what you want.
That's absolutely a personal preference, you can't go wrong. As long as you protect / insulate the antenna as most all have found. As shown this is my number one case... Frost/Graphite

........this is gonna sound like a REAL dumb question but how comfortable is the case to hold with them 2 protrusions on the right hand side(top & bottom)?!
I find it very comfortable holding the Vapor4 cased iPhone. Others may have different feelings on this subject

I got mine also, was very excited for this one because orange is one of my favorite colors and was kind of disappointed because its more or a copper than orange. I decided not to keep mine.

I took the case outside in the sunlight to show the natural colors better. The warm inside lights really made it look more copper (as mentioned above) then it is.
The wife just left with her orange bumper, so I can't do a side by side but its not nearly as orange as the Apple bumper is.
As usual quality, fit & finish, detail is perfect on this thing. I bought two of them so I think Ill put it on wife phone and sell the other to cover the cost

I have a orange bumper also and your right, the oranges are not even comparable. Like I said, I love orange and that is the reason I bought the case but the case is not really orange. I like pumpkin orange, this case is more like burnt orange. So, I guess I will stick with the ar15 until the raw shows up then I am done with aluminum cases unless one comes along and just blows me away and is proven to work flawlessly. I am tired of being a guinea pig.

I wonder if any 'UK' users who have their Vapour cases, can post if they are getting signal issues here with o2.....? I'm still kinda holding off buying this case as where I live (South Croydon, Surrey), I'm resorting to having my 3G switched off in order to get 5 bars. With 3G switched ON, I would typically only get 1 to 3 bars so obviously with a Vapour on my phone - it could knock this into 'No Service' with 3G switched ON......

lost one of my element case screws. i emailed them two weeks ago, but as expected I havent received a response on getting replacements. FML.
Mine came missing 2 screws and I sent them an email as well. No reply and it's been 5 days. I really do not expect to hear from them.
I really wish Element would get around to letting us just order the coloured end caps we want. The Frost is the only finish I like due to the great grip it provides. All I would order now is some caps in different colours. The more I see the blue the more I like it. I really don't want to order a whole case just to get the blue.
if that happens it'll be after all the preorders. which would probably be next year
We're on the same page on this one to W/R. Last week EM posted on twitter that they quote: "planned down the line, but not a priority right now." unquote. This was after a gentleman had ask when the cap's would be available
. I also am lOOking forward to a color variety of Cap's, blue being one of them.to be fair no one put a gun to our heads
then again it was taken as face value that it would work. If there was an asterisk on the site that said "will not work well in many areas of coverage", then no one would have had a gun to our heads.....
My family and I have had our cases for about 5 days now. They work very well unless you are in an area of poor coverage, then they will go into searching mode. It happened once to me so far.
Not really sure whether I'll keep them or ebay them.
bought 10 cases, and sold 6 of them last night on Ebay. The profit on he 6 payed for the 4 we still have. So basically we have 4 free cases that look great but have signal issues.
I just got the Nickel case and I'm not happy with the tarnish.
Someone on eBay is selling a "new" satin-finish nickel Vapor Case that he claims does not varnish. Does anyone know anything about this? (Sorry if it's in here. Long thread.)
He says "It is not as shinny as the original Nickel Case but this Case still shines ALOT and will not Tarnish like the old cases, that is why they came out with this case because the original nickel cases were tarnishing and turning yellowish brown and green. This case is not supposed to tarnish but it comes with its own cleaning cloth."
My case just arrived yesterday so it's kind of frustrating to see someone selling one that they claim fixes the tarnish problem. Or is the seller full of it?

It is true, I work with metal. The shinny finish is a result of electroplating. The satin finish is a result of a chemical bath heat application. The composition of the nickel after the application is different. It also accounts for the different finish.
