T I A is a term used by people who have lived and worked in Africa.
"This is Africa"
It says a lot to people who have experienced the continent first hand.
My daughter who teaches at an orphanage in Tanzania uses a newer term:
I F A, It's f#@*ing Africa.
This can be used when confronted by the brutality of tribal warfare, the corrupt governments, famine or a magnificent sunset on the Serengeti.
And I agree with Mcarnes, everyone should see Blood Diamond as well as the doc Darfur as well.
