Haters tend toward being chronic complainers and they never win. They only acquire a new target to complain about.

Specifically speaking about Musk since I’m not invested in his failures or successes I neither hate or love him.

When two lines are parallel, their opposite angles are congruent. - Geometric theory on parallelism

In short, you complain about the haters being so obsessed, yet the Stans are the exact same way: willing to do anything to bend the knee and kiss the ring.

That… is fanaticism; the same type of fanaticism that those like OBL glorified. Yeah, Stans are in that realm, addicted to a cult of personality.

…you complain about the haters being so obsessed…

Actually it’s an observation not a complaint. I’ve read chronic complainers are physiologically rewriting their brain predisposing themselves to having negative perceptions.

RIFs, closures, cuts, and zero-based budgeting is necessary to keep Twitter out of BK. Rumors are more RIFs are coming. No one likes the CEO who‘s tasked with saving a failing company.

I don’t know what you‘re trying to say.

Of course not.

In the early 2000s, Apple was a failing company, barely solvent, with stock prices under $.99/share.

In an attempt to save a failing company, Apple rehired Steve Jobs as their CEO.

And you say that people don’t like a CEO who is tasked with saving a failed company. 🙄

Jobs was admired and criticized roundly when he returned. It was not easy turning Apple around and changing its culture but yet he did so and did a marvelous job. Are you actually laying a foundation of optimism for Musk at Twitter?

No. I’m arguing against your claim that people hate CEOs tasked with saving failed companies. Jobs is a perfect example of a counter to your claim; and there are many others.

As for laying a foundation? Stans would only think that; seeing that one of the major shareholders who helped him buy the company have now lowered their valuation of the company by 56% because of of Musk’s (lack of) leadership as CEO, that tells you what he is doing, and where his company is going.

Perhaps ****ter is apropos.

You are poorly informed bradl.

Steve Jobs’ turnaround of Apple after his return was tumultuous, painful, and controversial. Jobs was criticized for deteriorating financials, RIF’ing something like 30%-40% of the workforce, losing the entire board of directors, and undermining Amelio. Jobs style was described as cold, calculating, and dictatorial.

For all those Musk-like qualities it was what Apple needed for Jobs heroic turnaround at Apple. Today he is loved but during the turnaround….not so much.

So funny that out of all the billionaires people are mad at, they are mad at the only one who comprehends code and has built some of the most legendary software and AI teams in history.

Because the news is brainwashing them, of course.

While disagreeing with Musk in some areas I admire what he has accomplished and think he has Twitter on the right track at the moment. I hope it continues.

Yeeaah no .. no it really isn't

Never heard any conspiracy theories or rightwing bootlicking from Jobs. Old school CEOs grew into better developed people, unlike the Paypal mafia and A16Z aligned VCs who became childish twitter trolls and con artists.

Yeah.. yeah, it is. They both worship a cult of personality, to the point where they both believe that their guy can do no wrong.

But no matter; Musk just found out that free(dom) speech isn’t free, as he became the first person to shatter the record of losing $200 billion.

Tesla’s value dropped 65% over the year, and another 11% from this past Tuesday alone. Tesla’s investors are worried (read: p****d) that he’s too busy alienating the younger people who buy his cars because Space Karen has got to Karen.

But the Stans won’t care; multiple posts by them here prove my point.

Jobs was a famous eccentric. Woz even said Jobs’ personality was more like President Trump than Elon Musk. 😂

Eccentric means nothing on its own. Eccentric can be a perfectly decent person who gets better with age. Or it can mean someone who has lied and bullied and faked their way to "richest man in the world" title.

Eccentric fascist who lies and fakes autism is a better descriptive for Musk.

Woz hasn't innovated since early 80s and has been washed up dork since then. I wonder how his Wozcoin did? Oh it has crashed about 99.5%.

There is never a good reason to mention Woz. He knew almost nothing about Jobs or Apple post-80s.

Woz and Jobs weren’t exactly complete strangers, now were they?

The people you knew years ago in college won't be the same today. People change. Woz knew next to nothing about Jobs after they parted Apple in the 80s, and if Woz had any decent skills he could have been invited to work at NeXT and then Apple again.

Let Woz go and don't make bad analogies to defend Musk.

Sam Bankman-Fried losing $16b overnight must feel relieved.

Wasn't real money anyway. It was fantasy tokens made by douche bags hiding from regulators.

Yeah people will say 'But money isn't real anyway so why can't we all make money?' but that's not how the world works outside mom's basement or Ponzi scheme.

and yet, people criticizing musk spend more time (invested) than those who support him. Let’s call this variable (Screen to Musk ratio, S2M).

So if Haters = S2M(2) while Lovers = S2M. The haters are receiving considerable more S2M as demonstrated.

It’s weird, it’s almost as if all the conspiracies he’s spewing might have some truth to them, maybe that’s why he’s garnered such obsession attention.

Either way, it’s great to go on Twitter spaces and discuss both sides. Forget about musk, it’s great to actually talk to other Americans who both agree and disagree with me

People who know musk love him, probably why he has the capability to lead the best AI teams in the world. Everyone else’s opinion relies on new articles paid for by Soros or Big Pharma.

Who would you rather listen to, a old billionaire who communicates via the media he paid to brainwash the airwaves with, or a billionaire who comprehends code, actually replies to you in a public forum like Twitter, is into open source, and runs the most legendary internet and ai companies know to to man?

I'd appreciate it if you never reply to me or speak to me ever. The things you believe in are unhealthy and I don't want to be exposed to the stuff going on with you. Pretending to be interested in "both sides" doesn't fool people like me.

Musk comprehends code so well that developers all around the world are mocking him. He is an old ass billionaire who bought a media outlet to brainwash simps with. If he didn't have hair transplants, surgery and dyed hair you would just see him as just another old bald rich *******.

He's just new Henry Ford, a car maker and fascist propagandist reborn. Only closet racists, closet sexists and fascist bootlickers are into that.

Well, I really don’t have to say much here, you did all the work! I am enlightened by your thoughtful centrist take here. Thank you for your input.
