Be born rich and you can tell people that money is the result of hard work. What propaganda is that? is it "Work hard and you can achieve anything?"

Maybe. But for those of us living in the US he’s one of the unelected obscenely rich power players who has more influence over our lives than the people we vote to represent us.Oh give it up man. Elon Musk may be a genius, but he’s lost his damn mind. 😂
I may be misreading your comment completely here, in which case I apologise, but… could you clarify who this "African-American immigrant with a disability" is?Crazy how many users hold so much hate toward an African-American immigrant with a disability, while several people matching only one of these demographics receive virtue-signaling or praise for participation-award-level "accomplishments." More of the same "I only like your demographics when you agree with me" instead of principles.
This is only an observation, not some non-sequitor argument, before anyone takes some guy's internet comment personally and feels their feathers ruffled.
He agreed to buy twitter at a particular price. If he was playing anything he lost badly and came out looking like a total fool. He's playing them like a fiddle. Upsetting their stocks, quite deliberately in my opinion.
Elon was born in South Africa, immigrated to the US, and has Asperger's. No apologies needed!I may be misreading your comment completely here, in which case I apologise, but… could you clarify who this "African-American immigrant with a disability" is?
I think you may be mixing several different groups and compiling them as one.
Yeah that’s what bipolar peepz typically think. (Just for your reference, I’m referring to Musk. And I’m not a hater, I kinda like himI think Musk knows exactly what hes doing.
OP is dead wrong. That was very nicely played, but the OP isn't far wrong.
Thanks.Elon was born in South Africa, immigrated to the US, and has Asperger's
LinkHe is a South African of European descent.
What complicates matters further is his Canadian and American ancestry with links to the Pennsylvania Dutch community.
Either way, he is classified as a White South African.
The African-American label does not extend to people of North African, Afro-Arab, Africans of European settler stock, and Africans of Asian immigrant stock even if many end up identifying with their African heritage, as tenuous as it may appear.
He is therefore a white person and a White African who so happens to live in North America.
Which is what? Buying twitter at the price he initially agreed to? Oh wait, his plan must have been to pay lawyers to prepare a lawsuit that Elon would eventually cancel. Someone has to feed those lawyers.I think Musk knows exactly what hes doing.
I quit FB years ago. I love & use the internet, but I am pretty much off all social media. I’m a gen x’er, so I wasn’t born into it & can live without it.Maybe. But for those of us living in the US he’s one of the unelected obscenely rich power players who has more influence over our lives than the people we vote to represent us.
The people who control social media control us. I saw that with how the nefarious influences on Facebook destroyed the perceptions and character of people with whom I had what was supposed to be lifelong friendships.
The algorithms and the stealth influences pulled people who used to be thoughtful and insightful and critical thinkers into blind angry, fearful extremists on either side of the spectrum. People who had been united over hobbies and common interests were polarized into hatred. Fact-checked news gave way to memes that may or may not be true or anecdotes that may never have happened the way they were re-shared.
It will be interesting to see how Musk shapes Twitter, if this all goes through. If he’s truly crazy, lol I don’t know if he’ll make it any worse than it already is out here.
From your own link, there are multitudes of responses stating the opposite. If you sort by upvote, the consensus is that he qualifies as African-American. Either way, it's up to opinion to me, and a consensus can be wrong in either direction. I have family who were born and raised in Madagascar that aren't someone you'd describe as black, but they are African-American. I use the terminology to mock the lack of its purpose in use, and that it really doesn't matter.Thanks.
But he is a white South African… Classified as a white South African. Not everyone born in Africa is black. Or qualifies as black.

How is this a best case scenario for most people.I think most people’s best case scenario was that he was forced into an expensive settlement but still didn’t own Twitter. I wonder if this latest action is him calling Twitter’s bluff and see if they’re really serious about going through with it and aren’t just trying to squeeze the biggest settlement out of him.
I think he's got enough money to just buy both .....Man... I would hate to go out to eat with Elon Musk....
Elon: "Excuse me waiter? Can I change that order from a burger back to a salad again? No wait.... can you do a burger with a side salad?"
Make up your mind.
You're confusing Musk with a Kardashian. He's the biggest fraud in the history of business. Guy has literally done nothing. Didn't even found Tesla.
Hes basically a business celebrity who makes money because he's a business celebrity.
