Yep, what a billionaire loser with multiple companies and his own satellite constellation and reusable rockets. 🙄
and sexual assault allegations and blood on his hands from the coup attempt he orchestrated and a rich dad who gave him all his wealth so he could buy companies that made things already instead of ever making a single thing himself

My concern is the immensity of material they used to train it without authorial consent. Apple partnering with them kind of glosses over that. Feels very neo-liberal, status-quo, “let the colonized territories remain under current ownership no matter the legitimacy of claim.”
This is exactly why I call OpenAI the 'Google' of AI. They lie, steal, and cheat to get what they want, without regard to laws, decency, or fairness. And, by the time people realize what's going on, OpenAI will be too large and too intertwined with the economy to do anything about it.

“Have him all his wealth” is a foolish statement. Allegations are just that. Have they ever happened to rich ppl and been fabricated?

Overall, he’s done more for the world and created more money, jobs, products and influence than almost any person who has ever lived.

it’s not a foolish statement if it’s true but you don’t like it. and lol if buying companies that do things is helping the world then i guess but that’s not my definition of help so no

If that was what EM had done, I would agree. What he has done though is far from that. Knowing a couple of engineers who have worked for him, he has a work ethic that is mind bending along with some very serious smarts. Hate the man if you want, or just dislike him. He has accomplished some very mind blowing technologies and companies with more to come. Hats off to him.
