I mean sure, go ahead. There's already plenty of people on the fence about whether they want to continue using Twitter, and that might just be the nudge they need.

If I didn't know better I'd swear that Musk bought Twitter with the intention of deliberately wrecking it.
He did. He bought it to sink it. It devolving into what is today is the same thing as it failing. Its core usership has shift so sharply it might as well be a different site. The prioritization of comments is so upside-down that essentially only sycophants get top-billing. It’s still relatively usable until you stumble into the replies of any popular post from a group targeted by the right… then it’s ooof city

I don't respect him. He talks too much and his accomplishments are yet another products of materialism and capitalism. Did he make a world a better place? No.

Oh an he's also an antisemitist

So **** him :D Hope all his companies go bankrupt

Elon has responded directly to TC on Twitter. Tim no doubt preparing to drop a legendary diss track.

I have Kendrick Lamar Euphoria-level hatred for Elon. Thought I was his number one hater, glad to know I have competition.

Imagine if we didn’t have SpaceX.
With the current tension between the US and Russia we would have to rely on whom? Amazon?
Since when USA “greatest nation on earth” can’t make their own damn spaceships 😂 You have NASA, you have done it before. You don’t need ManChildX to build it.

Btw, soon he gonna rename Tesla as TeslaX or something for consistency.

Apple is likely rolling its own Apple Intelligence—perhaps repurposing some AI concepts and code from electric car development. Other AI developers correctly fear the entrance of Apple with its extraordinary culture of innovation. OpenAI possibly provides Apple with a clear model of how not to do artificially intelligence. Aside, Grok comes from the scifi book Stranger in a Strange Land.

One thing about AI algorithms is that the more they’re used, the better they perform.
Careful there.

Depends entirely on the training and how feedback is processed. And your definition of “better”.

There have been plenty of examples of AI that has gone totally off the rails when exposed to end users.

Look up Tay, Microsoft’s chat bot.

Sorry but we can’t rely on NASA to get their head out of the sphincter region. Sad.

Found this amusing little drawing but it does touch base on some concerns.

Is google search scanning every email you have sent, every text you have sent? Scanning pictures, and basically everything in your phone so AI can use it when you ask what time your mom's flight is coming in? Or what restaurant was I at when I was wearing the black leather jacket on that rainy day picture? Is google scanning your entire phone and computer so it can answer any question relative to you? Maybe it is, then I would agree, but I have trouble believing this has been the case that a search engine has the same level of access that you are giving AI.
Elon specifically called out the partnership with OpenAI as the problem. Apple doesn't let OpenAI scan or see your library of emails, messages and photos. You can send an individual message or photo to OpenAI, with an explicit opt-in every time you do so. You can basically ask Siri "What's this a picture of?" and Siri will sometimes respond by asking you if it's OK to pass the question and photo to OpenAI.

Apple also has onboard AI models and has built their own AI cloud compute service, so maybe there are some valid concerns with the latter, but that has nothing to do with OpenAI.

Apple should walk from having a corporate presence on X.

A platform that seems to give freer rein to hate speech/racism/bigotry is surely counter to what Apple purports to be? Plus, loss of that ad account might sting.

Starship - game changer
Falcon V - game changer. Some boosters have 20+ starts and returns
Dragon vs Starliner

And you know that NASA is outsourcing a lot of flights to SpaceX, right? Guess why

Because Obama believed the future of space was privatized, or at least his donors did.

These spaceships and rockets have to be manufactured to NASA’s very strict specs, designs and standards.

When it comes to SpaceX’s own designs for its own missions they are a joke and a scam. Fortunately or maybe unfortunately they explode at a much higher rate than the rocket industry average.

Just like Elon’s sanity.

The SpaceX Falcon 9 has a 99.44% success rate.
ULA has a 100% success rate.

It's a NASA design made to NASA spec. They oversee everything.

There haven't been enough launches to talk about success rates long term.

NASA has outsourced for decades. SpaceX is not their only partner.

SpaceX Starship is has basically a zero chance of success in its current design. NASA has nothing to do with it. It's Space Karen's scam, a fantasy.

ULA has a 100% success rate.

Launch people into space regularly and then talk about rates. The rocket industry has an average 6% failure rate and it is very hard to improve on that. They are essentially creating an explosion under a vehicle. When there is one major tragedy that takes the lives of some very important figures they have to ground the flights for a long time to work out how they can prevent it. It's a very costly and legal process whenever people die.

SpaceX, Blue Origin and others have to follow the regulatory guidelines of all Gov’t agencies. SpaceX and BO are rewriting the specs and are years ahead of NASA in many designs. Follow NASA design specs? 😂🤣😂🤣

In 2017 SPaceX partnered with NASA to design and build a crew carrying capsule for the next generation. NASA even stated that the current recoverable rockets that SpaceX is using could not be done.

I expect Elon to invite Tim over to Tesla, to show him how things 'should be'.
After all he was invited to stroll with Tim in the Apple-park.
Time to show some courtesy Elon, if you ever had any of it 😉

SpaceX has launched more than twice as many times in fewer years than ULA.
SpaceX was responsible for 44% of space rocket launches worldwide last year.

Of course it doesn’t have a chance with the current design, because they aren’t done designing it. They’ve been launching it expecting that it will probably fail, because they believe the data from the tests is worth the cost of the failure.
Now, I totally agree that Elon makes unrealistic predictions about Mars colonization and such.

They’ve launched 8 crewed missions for NASA and four commercial crewed flights.

Am I speaking Eskimo or something? I literally said these are missions for NASA under NASA guidance.

Whenever NASA is not involved SpaceX only produced explosions.

Two thirds of SpaceX launches are not NASA missions.

What, specifically, do you mean when you say it's a NASA design?
