Tesla's lead is in manufacturing,

If you really believe that I got some bridges to sell to you...

Tesla's lead here exist only in having new plants with new machine that have a lifespan of 2ß-40 years (and need that lifespan to make financial sense).

Any new plant coming or or any full overhaul in an existing one and that lead turns into "also ran".

Oh I never said he was a decent human being lol. He’s the biggest troll and it’s entertaining as hell!

Without a doubt, the highest form of the Art of the Troll. I would buy neither Apple's polishing cloth or Musk's whistle (except as a gag gift on either front. Why not put both in a box together and gift as a set?). It would be funny as hell to make a YT video polishing your cyber whistle with the Apple polishing cloth.

Sometimes I think I'm living in a Marvel movie without the super heroes....

I'm sure you know more than the CEO of Volkswagen, right?

Tesla is swiftly improving quality and looks set to achieve a production time of just 10 hours per car at its Gruenheide plant, Diess said Thursday in a prepared speech at a staff meeting in Wolfsburg. VW’s main electric-car factory in Zwickau needs more than 30 hours per vehicle, which should be reduced to 20 hours next year.

God I've had enough of this clown... Do I really need to hear about this selfish idiot and his stupid takes and stupid grift ideas for the rest of my life? ... I guess with how people are and how his cultish followers just wont go away, I will... ?
Are you talking about Tim or Elon lol…. That was the whole point of his joke…. But you gotta at least realize it was a joke to get the punchline

It's the other way around. If Elon hadn't taken the swipe at Apple, MacRumors (and others) wouldn't have run a story on the whistle. Why would they have?

But because he did that, this Tesla gag gift is now MacRumor's top story for the hour.
I see your point, but by that logic, he should have made a comparison between something like the most expensive Mac Pro and a Model 3. Would have had the same attention, though I suppose neither company really desperately needs it.

Seem like a lot of hate for Elon. Like Steve Jobs, Elon is a leader in making a better world; no other company has pushed electric cars, sustainability, moving away from fossil fuels otherwise it would have been done 50 years ago. Tim Cook is getting better since he realized Apple is not a fashion company ($16,000 iWatch) but there's still remnants of bad decisions. I think Elon is calling out Tim on those remnants.

Hint: your link does not prove what you might think it does.

Sure adding another car plant to the market will put pressure on everybody else in the same market (doesn't really matter who adds that plant) and sure most VW plants need that massive overhaul and once those are done they will for sure operate with fewer workers.

So yeah lots of hurt coming in if your VW, but once that is done it will be Tesla with slightly outofdate 10 year old plants competing against brand new ones equicked with machines that have all the quirks fixed after Tesla did the beta testing.

Why? It looks far too much like their failed 'cyber truck'. The one with the super tough windows that broke. I'd rather own the polishing cloth than a symbol of that ridiculous event. Hard pass...

Does he really have that a messianic status in the US that he can sell people whistles?
don't know about the messianic status, but tesla has a cult following just like apple, his tequila, flamethrower(notaflamethrower) all sold out like bangers.

I can actually respect Elon and Tesla, since they're a good manufacturer, unlike Apple, who takes all the credit from their manufacturers by saying they "Custom Designed" their components. Design doesn't really matter, as everything is based on how good a manufacturer's process is.

By what metric? Hyped up stock evaluation? Maybe...

The guy is a sad troll, which is good as long as you see Tesla as a meme stock and really bad when want to be a competitive company.

Just like Jobs needed to be kicked in 85 to become somewhat bearable so does Musk and maybe 10 years later he can return to actually make Tesla half the company he claims it to be.
Except it’s the market that has blinders on, Elon has told them many times they are over valuing Tesla by a lot, the stock has gone up multitudes since he told them. A bubble exist in the ev world right now, investors have been told point blank so when the bubble pops I don’t think I’ll be very sympathetic

But at what point do we, as a society, decide that being a troll isn't productive, and is actually damaging and threatening our future. I mean, there is 'wit', and there is 'sarcasm', but being a font of such self-owning negativity is caustic, and I've gotten tired of it. He needs to grow the hell up.

lol... A Socialist who's an Apple fan. hahaha... Did you type this at your local Starbucks while sipping your $7 Frappuccino?

In any case, if you're so confident that Tesla's financial statements are a fraud, you can short the stock. I put my money where my mouth is. Are you willing to do the same?

And Musk admits that SpaceX is potentially going bankrupt, and he is forcing people to work longer hours to fix his problems. What about that sounds like a safe investment. Sure, Musk is an a---hole, but how does that end well. He's a narcissist, and how does that end well. Is Starship Musk's Spruce Goose?

lol... Tesla will become the world's most profitable company and the world's largest company this decade.
Have fun missing out on this once-in-a-generation opportunity.
define "profitable"

2021 q3 revenue: 13.757 billion, profit is 1.83 per share. but only a few will get dividends. you guys are trading promises and lies. looks like there's not much to back the heavily inflated share price.
