Starlink is currently at 35%, approaching 50% of all airlines. Limiting your airline choice because of Elon? Or just avoid using internet entirely on flights?
All 4 major cruise providers announced starlink adoption. No internet on a cruise for you?
You're going to drive an EV and avoid 25% of all fast chargers in EU (or 50% of all fast chargers in USA) to stick it to Elon?
What happens when your energy provider installs Tesla batteries/solar?

  • I’m not so terminally online that I can’t handle putting my phone down for an hour.
  • I don’t like to hang out in an overpriced Petrie dish, so I don’t go on cruises. There are better and more interactive things to do with my time.
  • I drive a hybrid, and wouldn’t take a road trip in an EV anyway.
  • My provider uses wind.
Give it up. I’m not supporting your weird god emperor.

If you limit your consumption of products to only inventors that you politically agree with, there are a lot of bad things people have done that would prevent you from using a lot of technology.
You can't argue with leftists... they're modern day Marxist ideologues who live in a bubble; they think that anyone who disagrees with them should be censored or even violently dealt with and ironically call the other side who want to debate issues and protect freedom of speech, fascists. They're easy to identify because they believe they're morally and intellectually superior and thumb their noses at the "uneducated", but they can never defend their positions with data, logic, and/or reason.

Musk has come out and said specifically that the rumours are “Utterly false

That means it’s in development and will take over the market 😀

The last thing I want is GrokAI on any device I own or interact with. No thanks. I'll stick to either Claude or Gemini (or perhaps the new Siri when available).

Elon Musk's SpaceX may be aiming to compete with Apple in the future. The company showed investors a prototype for a "handset-like device designed to reshape how humans interact with artificial intelligence," according to The Wall Street Journal.
Elon Musk is the king of vaporware. He makes such grand claims about his companies’ future products so he can get more American taxpayers’ tax money from the government. And it’s not just Trump who’s been giving him handouts—it’s been Biden and Obama, too. Elon Musk is America’s biggest welfare queen.

Good grief with you people. All he did was run an experiment that concluded that lightning was electricity. He's not the "father" of it. It's so absurd how many people buy into those silly folk tales and pretend that most of what early Americans "invented" wasn't lifted from other places. Next you'll claim Edison actually invented the things he had patented, rather than simply stealing them from people under duress.

Interesting that you choose to die on that hill and be defensive on someone else's behalf though. Doesn't change the fact of what a puke Elon is.
Yup. The actual Nikola Tesla, and his partner Westinghouse, were the fathers of the alternatinig current electrical power systems we still use today, defeating Edison's interference with his attempts at an inefficient DC power grid.

Given Musk's antipathy towards Sam Altman and OpenAI in general, this supposed device is more likely intended to try to scare them more than Apple, and mess with their impending IPO.

brb, going to grab some food in my "vaporware" car that drives itself to the Italian restaurant.
