Email from Apple

Not sure if this is the normal process, but Applr just emailed me to confirm my watch is shipping in 2-3 weeks. Same info as My Order page.
 
I had received 2 emails today for one of my watches (38mm SG May 21- June 4) but not for my other order (38mm Blue Sport also a May 21-June 4). Doesn't seem to be consistent.
 
They call it an Email of death on here but it's really not true. Some peoples watches shipped the day after they got it.

The name doesn't fit.
 
Oddly enough, for a White Sport. Surely that's not at the top of the backlog list?
 
Just got the email from Apple too. Note that I ordered the 42mm space grey sport about an hour after preorders launched, and I have been bumped from "June" to a specific delivery estimate of May 29-June 11.

Here's what the email says for those who are interested:

Your Apple Watch Sport is expected to ship within the next 4 to 6 weeks.

When your order ships, you will receive a Shipment Notification email with tracking information.

For the most up-to-date information about your order, please visit online Order Status.

Thank you for choosing Apple.

I got this email for the watches I have on order. Both watches I ordered changed shipping estimates. Did everyone that got this letter get a new shipping estimate too?

Stupid question, but what does EOD mean? (other than apparently I'm not getting it soon)

I also literally just go the same email, btw. 42 SG BSB, ordered at 8:09am EST on 4/10.

I received the email this morning moving my date forward to 5/20 on a 38 mm SS WSB which I ordered Friday with an initial ETA of June.

I cancelled my first order for a 38 mm SS blue modern buckle, which I placed at 12:08 PDT on launch day with an ETA of 5/13-27. When I could finally get a try on appointment, I realized the MB band isn't that great -- not a reasonable justification to delay receiving the watch anyway.

Curious what you ordered and your original estimation?
 
I got the email just now too.

I ordered a 38 mm SS Milanese on Apr 17. My original delivery date was May 20-June 3. It's now May 20-28.

Got the same email for my my girlfriends 38mm Silver Aluminum w/White Sport Band that i ordered on the 24th for her.

Have not received that email for my order that i place in the first 4 minutes of preorder for my 42mm SG.
