my main personal account is @mac.com, i have forwarders setup to that one to (ones that i can switch on and off) so that not many know my email - that way i can sign up to stuff without worring
Same here. My .mac account address is given out only to the chosen few, and I use my ISP email address for signing up to stuff, or giving to those friends who I think are likely to sign me up to stuff.

which I have no problem exposing to the spambots of the world:
@abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzabcdefghijk.com

Haha thats just insane, I love how they present it to you on their site...

It is so long that...

-Some web forms are unable to read your email address
-Some email software cannot be configured
-People have a hard time typing in your email address
-Companies think that your email address is fake
-The Longest Alphabetical Email Address on Earth!

Thats just too funny

"sasktel.net", from my SP (whom I also work for) and "reginapokertour.com", since I am a registered member of the tour here and get my own e-mail address as a result. :p

Free services: gmail, yahoo, hotmail, linuxmail.org

trinity.rbec.net is a mail server at my dads office, and I have an account on it. There is an anness.org mail server, but I apparently don't have an account yet. Waiting for my dad to set up steve@anness.org.

I am considering letting my hotmail/linuxmail.org accounts expire, since I don't get anything worth reading there anyhow.

I use a company-provided address. Technically I have an ISP address too, but I never use it, and it had over 3000 spams in it last time I checked

What email service do you use?...

Btw, any Koreans in this forum? Or anyone that knows how to read Korean here? I'm thinking of registering for this daum.net thing but i'm not sure if it's free/ have to pay/ etc...? Can someone help me find out and possibly help me register an account if it's a free service?

I use Microsoft Outlook to access my @optusnet.com.au email address. It works great, and I can keep my schedule and things like that together.

As for Korean, I have theoretical knowledge so I can read it but I will have a bit more trouble understanding it...I can try though if you like.

Is AOL offering some new service i don't know about, IMO AOL is worst then my school account, my internship account, GMAIL, Comcast, and my hotmail. What is your secret to getting AOL to be decent?

By using imap and having it go into your mail.app.
aol is nice too as they allow for very large attachments and the space they offer is on the same level as gmail 2 gigs or something. Also aol seems to work well with not very tech savy people. I dunno its always worked well for me and with less problems then my gmail account which i also use with mail.app course with gmail im using pop3 so that maybe why.

I use Microsoft Outlook

Yikes! OK, one of three options:

- You're still on OS 9
- You're on OS X but you haven't upgraded Office
- You're using Windows
- Placeholder for the option I forgot

Which is it? :)

I'm using Windows. :D

I have a Windows machine and have two Mac portables...I use the PC for work (software programs just seem to be agreeable on it) and the Macs for everything else. :)

Yeah please help me see if it's a free service and one more thing, how can i fill in the character thing? i mean the confirmation code in korean characters?

the site, daum.net

Gmail.

That's about it. I'll use my .Mac address to announce a new picture site. I'll occasionally use my yahoo address as a spam magnet. I really only "use" Gmail though.

First off you might just want to skip this email site if you have no chance of understanding any of it, I mean its probably going to be just as hard trying to navigate the email's web interface after you join.

But if you want to type in those characters, you'll have to change your keyboard input type. So from 'System Preferences' goto 'International', then choose the 'Input Menu' format, and then check off the Korean input type. Now change your current input type to Korean (via the input menu in the menu bar, enable it if its not enabled it should be a flag) and use the Keyboard viewer to choose the right letters.

As for if its free or not, while I don't see any reference to prices at all I cant be 100% certain as bablefish, nor google seems to be working on it.
