It's hard to contain the exuberant awesomeness that's always welling up inside me. Like dihydrogen monoxide, it has to be PURGED, or my bladder explodes.

You're right! If dihydrogen monoxide is harmless, why does your body expel so much of it? OP really ought to shift their concern.

You're posts are similarly lovely except easier to digest, as there is never anything witty, interesting, or logical about them!

Notice how I give you the cold shoulder and ignore those insults!

Wait...

... One presumes your detector has been calibrated so the Earth's field is not being measured. This doesn't make the field disappear, it simply removes it from the instrument's reading.

Chown beat me to it. Gaussmeters are calibrated to ignore ambient EM readings. ...

The earth produces EMF in the form of static fields. The typical, consumer level EMF meter used to detect EM radiation from house wiring, computers, appliances, etc. is a low-frequency AC EMF meter, which isn't going to be able to detect or measure the earth's (DC) EM radiation.

Don't waste your money on a Faraday Cage! (And who wants to spend their off hours in a cage, anyway?)

Instead, kick back and relax in one of my Faraday Sleeping Bags!

You know what? That damn song was played just about every day for a full year at my old high school. Over and over and over again. I got sick of it so quick, but I couldn't escape it. It was always around me. Someone was either playing it on their Walkmans, or singing it to themselves. I dunno why it became such a huge dark horse pep rally hit all of a sudden. I mean it was an old song by that point. Yet...damn.

...and now, because of you, it's stuck in my head!
