So I downloaded the free Xcode 3.2.6 from the Apple website which took forever. Then I installed it, and it took up around 10 GB of data on my MacBook. After it was installed, it took me a while to actually find the Xcode program even while using the search in Finder. I finally found it in Macintosh HD under "Developer". I ran it, and even after I had restarted my MacBook Pro 13", it still stuttered a little while trying to run it giving me the beach ball frequently.

My iPad now has the gestures, but I want to delete Xcode now, but I don't know exactly which folder(s) to delete. I don't want to erase something that was there before. Is the "Developer" folder from the Macintosh HD the only thing I need to remove to revert my computer back to before I downloaded Xcode?

I know this thread is a few weeks old, but I was wondering if this still worked. So if I bought Xcode today would it still work?

I'm not totally understanding how to do this.. I have X-code installed and I have a ipad 2.. How do I go about enabling gestures.. Do I just plug it in? What do I do exactly?

confirmed that the multi gestures works for 4.3.3 as well
beware, the Xcode is a VERY LARGE file. 4GB to download, 10GB needed to install......

Delete/remove/uninstall Xcode afterwards is a very wise choice!!

Hi:
Open Xcode that's in the developer folder with your iPad connected then go to the window menu and then go to organizer, you can see your iPad under the devices tab, it will ask you if you like to use like a developer device, say yes and when ask you for the password say cancel and voila!! You have your iPad ready to use gestures, activate the function in the ipad settings...
Enjoy!
