Oh, this also enables night shift for use on my TV, which I run my Mac Pro off of as well! Still liking Flux a bit better though because of the transitioning and sunset/sunrise mode.

Night Shift works. It actually works better than F.lux on my Mac due to different users on my Mac has different preference. F.lux quit often screw up during profile switching, but Night Shift works flawlessly during switching.

This may be due to the multiple users, I don't know since I'm a single user at home or something must be wrong with your F.lux setup...

Yes, multi users was totally broken in the last few version of F.lux. That makes me actually give up F.lux for quite a long period of time. The latest version is just barely OK. It can keep the correct colour temperature during switch profile (the account don't want to use .F.lux still must setup to use F.lux, but just config it to always the same colour temperature), however, the transition during switching is not very smooth. Make it looks very strange.

I agree that F.lux is more powerful and more useful options. However, in my situation. This Night Shift hack works much better.
