Who hear drinks energy drinks? I prefer them to coffee for the most part but I do like coffee. Here are my common buys:

    Rockstar: Pretty much any flavor
    Monster: Pretty much any flavor
Full Throttle: Anything but Mother, that one wasn't too good.
    Monster Java: RUSSIAN!
    Amp

I wll try pretty much anything though. Made that mistake once with Von Dutch.

I hated Rockstar at first but it was a 24oz one so I kept drinking it and now I love it!

Never had an energy drink, I don't need that much energy.

I suppose if I was going to try one, it would be Red Bull.

A friend of mine is trying to promote his own one. I did the design for him. It is a extremely difficult business, we have been working on the design again and again for almost a year. And now they are trying hard to get this into shops and I'm doing flyers, folders etc. for them.

    www.derdrink.com

It actually tastes pretty good, and is a little bit healthy. Has no artificial sugar in it and no caffeine, but guarana, green tea, ginko & ginseng.

No matter if it fails or not, to me it's even awesome that it got this far over the last 5 years.

    5 hour energy

Can't go wrong with this brand. You feel energetic, but you're not all chinged up and out of control. There's no crash either. It's expensive, but worth it for a good pick me up in the morning or right before a workout.

I had a Red Bull or two back when they were "new," but I didn't like the taste. I haven't tried, nor do I desire to do so, any of the newer energy drinks. If I'm in need of a pick-me-up, a regular soda works fine for me.

Ill have it with some Jager but thats it. I'm not a huge fan.

FYI: Ginsing [sp?] is a natural form of caffeine, as is tea.

I can NOT stand Redbull. The Punched one in Rockstar is one of my personal favorites. Though my personal choice when I buy is the Russian Monster Java. Its pretty much a White Russian with energy drink instead of alcohol. It is supposed to have the flavor of the Vodka though.

Didn't we have a similar post on energy drinks last month?

Amp is pretty good. So is Bolt and that tea energy drink...which I can't think of the name.

Since I cut down on caffeine my energy levels have gone up significantly :)

My friends all drink Relentless, though.

i'm going to rain on this parade:

    energy drinks are a joke.

with proper nutrition, one doesn't need the fake boost of EN drinks.

All they do is artificially pump the right chemicals in your body (an insane amount btw), then you crash hard (unless you drink another one).

to each their own, but if you eat and drink properly, you don't need them, imho :)

    cheers,
    keebler

I think I'm fairly caffeine 'immune'. Red Bull, Relentless, even packets of Pro-Plus, no impact on me whatsoever. Once, after three large strong mugs of a coffee called 'rocket fuel' - I had a little bit of a buzz, but that's it.

Ripped Force or Speed Stack. They make those above seem like a can of Dew.

Agree, at some point they will probably determine it does more harm than good. Know what goes in you body and be Ok with it...;)

I don’t touch them anymore at one point I couldn’t put them down but after reading an issue of modern drummer which had a page about these energy drinks. And what effects they have and how bad they are for you un stuff and that they will only give you a 15 min sugar rush and all the crappy stuff they put in there i.e. 20 desert spoons of sugar in one can where as a drink like Pepsi has 7 spoons. Your better off with a drink like Poweraid (Gatorade) or sprite etc... Or just go for water

a little off topic, but what's the point of the 'diet' energy drinks? there's no sugar that you'll get extra energy from, unless the excess amount of caffeine is what you're looking for. I love diet sodas, but I can never drink diet energy drinks, they taste just not pleasant. my favorite is regular redbull. :)

Like I said I mostly drink them because I like the taste. I don't care much about the buzz anymore so I don't really get one now. Sure they may be bad for ya but they taste good!:D
