?? What are you trying to say?? I love how you guys get so sensitive about your precious iphone. I have two of them but I am man enough to admit that it is not the baddest on the block anymore..LTE and now cloud too, the Thunderbolt has it beat in every area. Its been proven, show me something the iphone will do that the Thunderbolt wont!! I can show you several things the Thunderbolt can do that the iphone can't...like hit mid 30's to 40's on download speeds..and unlimited at that!!Plus cloud now..no comparison.
LOL.

Only 1 day late Bravo!

But it will out perform it in every single area!!

How about the battery? I have seen some Thunderbolt users telling others to remove widgets from their home screen. Isn't that one of the awesome features of Android? Another person recommends an App to turn off all activity on the phone except the phone itself to save the paltry battery.

It is 2011, no device should be struggling for normal battery usage. I understand when it was first a battle when Apple reinvented the smartphone market, but now? It is not acceptable.

What is funny is the stat they are quoting for this is some research firm who called Verizon stores and asked them to guess which was selling more.

The FUNNIEST part is, only 28% of Verizon stores said the Thunderbolt was selling more than the Verizon iPhone. Yet they seem to think that means more.

The FUNNIEST FUNNIEST part, as you noted, is they only include the Verizon iPhone ,yet when they compare OSes not only do they add up every manufactures every single model but they do it for all carriers.

The Thunderbolt will not be anywhere close to selling as many units as the iPhone 4. Not even in the same stratosphere.

Like I have said, as long as it has an apple on it, it must be perfect. The iphone was the laughing stock of the industry this year and everyone who isn't stuck up apple's ass knows the truth. The phone is junk, the os is completely outdated and the antenna and the proximity sensor is a joke. It doesn't hold a candle to any of the new phones and that includes the screen and camera. Like I have said before, there is not 1 thing my iphone will do that my Thunderbolt won't do BETTER!! People need to face it, the phone is not even as good as the last generation or 3GS, that's pretty sad!! When I put my pictures from my Thunderbolt against my iphone, the Thunderbolt is better, the video is better and the phone speeds and benchmarks are better. Apple's next phone better be special or it might not get sold. The Thunderbolt has already outsold the iphone in less than 2 weeks so that says something right there.

First, the iPhone 4's camera is a lot better than the Thunderbolt. Use YouTube and watch videos about it. They will all tell you this.

Secondly, the thunderbolt is LAGGY. It lags while doing ANYTHING. You always get these brief sudden lag spikes and it's sad. Android devices are not optimized to the capabilities of the hardware. You could throw 6GB's of ram in the device, but if it's not optimized to use it's hardware properly, it's going to lag. The iPod Touch 2nd generation runs more smoothly than ANY android device.

Thirdly, if you dislike your iPhone that much.. Do these two things:

1. Take your iPhone back (Or sell it)
2. Join an Android forum.

I don't see why you're comparing a brand new device to something that's been out for 9 months...

Wait till the iPhone 5 comes out, then we'll chat.

Its been proven, show me something the iphone will do that the Thunderbolt wont!!

1) Play videos downloaded from the iTunes store (I've got several hundred GB of these, so it's pretty important to me)
2) Run apps downloaded from Apple's App Store

It's not all about raw specs, it's about the overall experience

I can play video's and songs from itunes, its called doubletwist. I now have two app stores to chose from, the android store and the amazon store. People keep saying wait for the iphone 5 but nobody knows anything about it except that it WONT be LTE capable so why wait on something that will be outdated before its released?? Wow, the screen may be better, or the processor may be better but in all actuality it will be the exact same phone. And I do have both iphones on both networks and I don't need to look at youtube for anything because I have seen it with my own eyes, the Thunderbolt has a better camera. And I think it hilarious that someone would actually call it laggy.. It blows the iphone's smoothness away..get off jobs sack and actually go compare phones then you will see.

Your immaturity is sickening, but yes I have tried the Thunderbolt, and yes it is a laggy experience. Web scrolling and homescreen switching are laggy as usual. Maybe dual core android phones can smoothen the expeience, but poor battery life, single core processor (which is outdated by android standards), and laggy UI make buying a Thunderbolt a terrible decision.

And the fact that Amazon had to create its own app store just adds more insult to the credibility of the android marketplace. The fragmentation continues...

When you define your existence through a product you become the joke.

More crying about your precious iphone. Look at the reviews for both phones, the speeds for both phones, the benchmarks for both phones and its pretty easy to see what's better. But you guys can go on and believe that the iphone 4 is the greatest phone ever made!!

I buy my products because they satisfy my needs, not because I need to compensate for a particular appendage with "more better stats". Why do you buy your products?

I buy what's best on the market at the particular time. When I bought my iphone's they were the best, now the Thunderbolt is the best in every category. I had no idea of what it was going to do being I was a first day buyer, it just turned out to be an incredible phone.

If the next iPhone has the dual-core A5 it will render all prior iPhones obsolete in the same way the 3GS did to earlier models.

However, if that's the most significant change, and it's a big one, the fickle people on this board will demonstrate their ignorance by calling it a "minor upgrade".

Lets say it does come out with a dual core A5 but its still 3G, then it will still be behind! Why wouldn't you want a 4G phone at this point? I mean Verizon will pretty much have spread their LTE network by the end of the year and at&t is moving at a snail's pace with their network but still has hspa+ available in places. They would be completely dumb to upgrade the processor and leave the rest of the phone alone. Even adding a better camera would not cut it at this point. Everyone has caught apple and they just don't dominate like they used to. Why would I want a dual core A5 iphone that can only pull down lets say at best 1.5 mbps on Verizon and 3.5 on AT&T when I can have a Thunderbolt that has 40 gigs of storage, now has cloud also, 2 app stores, a camera that matches the iphone but can download at speeds 10 times what the iphone will for the same price? You would be a fool to not want the Thunderbolt or another phone that has the same capabilities as the Thunderbolt does. And someone mentioned the itunes store and their media, well if Steve Jobs wasn't such a greedy bastard you could take your media with you. You bought it so you should be able to listen to it or watch it on any device you want. When you buy things from amazon you aren't restricted like what itunes does. Its just another way of apple showing their greediness. Unless apple's next iphone is something very special, and from what I have seen it really won't be, they are going to lose a lot of customers and profit share because people want 4G and other manufactures are giving it to them!

Enjoy your terrible battery life, ugly plastic phone, and laggy OS.

Now seriously GTFO. Nobody cares about your android flavor of the month.

So my previous generation iPhone with the latest OS, then? Oh.
I thought you were pro-Apple?

Oh gawd.

Look, it's another Apple fanboy who throws the word 'fragmentation' into a iOS vs Android competition (even when it's completely unrelated) and calls it a day.
