Too easy.

I first saw this yesterday when I looked
To see if they were offering anything for global running day. They were not. I was disappointed.

Easy? How so? I rarely put my watch on for 12 hours in a day so I actually need to make sure I put the watch on early morning around 7am in order to achieve 12 hours of Stand. I usually wear my watch for like 9 hours in a day.

Most people put it on when they wake up and take it off when they sleep (as you would a regular watch). So if you do that routine, of course it’ll be easy. Just don’t sleep in past 12 and put your watch on right after waking up.

This challenge is way too easy. I wear my watch from 6:30am-7:30pm, charge it until 9pm and then wear it overnight. I always wake in the middle of the night at least once, so that’ll give me 1 before sunrise.

How is it going to give it to you before sunrise? You need to WALK every hour for at least a minute to accomplish 12 hours of STAND

Not necessarily. There are ways around it.
Can you explain? Adding a 12 hour walking/running workout into the Health App manually to Unlock the achievement and then deleting the fake workout from health app?

You do realise the watch tends to think any form of wrist movement for about a minute is walking, right? I always notice I get an hour or sometimes two credited towards my stand ring from moving around in my sleep.

Ill let you figure it out yourself. It’s not too hard.

I generally get 18 stand hours or so per day. I put my watch on first thing in the morning when I get up around 530 or 6 am and it goes back on the charger around midnight when I go to bed. Sometimes miss an hint here and there if I’m seated at my desk for too long, but I rarely miss my stand goal.

That’s incorrect

Somewhere!
This is not a challenge. I do 12 hours of standing a day minimum at work. I wish they had set it higher. Like 4 hours more than what your watch is set at.

No it’s correct, it happens to me all the time.
How so? The watch has a step counter component. Isn’t that used to determine a “Stand”? Because the watch definitely knows if you’re moving using gps and the step counter. Don’t try to pass off the watch as being “dumb”

kinda

i fly a lot, so I move my hand back and forth in the air at my side. It mimics a walking motion and by proxy, adds faux steps. This gives me my stand
