So Apple doesn’t have the freedom to run their own business? Your statement boarders on the absurd. Epic signed a contract they knew what they were getting into they violated said contract and Apple enforced the contract.
Again, seems like none of the fanboys here understand antitrust laws banning predatory behavior. "You knew what you were signing up for" does not apply.

It's absolutely outrageous that Apple, or any company, has the power to kick soffware out of an entire operating system. Many of you are blinded by fanboyism, this is unacceptable. We really need the courts, the government, regulatory agencies, somebody, to put an end to this.

I was really excited about the new Apple Silicon Macs, but honestly after witnessing this, I can't possibly commit to using an operating system where people are not allowed to develop freely, distribute and install whatever they want.

It's so mind blowing and disgusting that I had to create account just to comment, I'm usually just a lurker and I prefer to stay away from controversy.

But I've decided that I won't purchase any more products from Apple until this is rectified and l will vote for politicians that are willing to pass legislation to protect the freedom of users and developers alike.

If you bothered to read, Epic decided to not do updates, not Apple. Apple doesn’t host Fortnite on the MacOS store.

Nope there is a big difference between using a secure platform that I can make smart decisions to meet my needs and an insecure platform that will never be secure.

Yes, but that's irrelevant. Your desire for a secure platform that you can alter as you desire is not an obligation on any company to alter its product.

While thats true, not raising my opinion as I continue to leave Apple products and continue to not recommend Apple products like I have in the past is important for Apple and others to hear. Especially when Apple could meet both needs without any significant additional cost.

Do you even know what “predatory behavior” actually is? I don’t think you do...

From a free game?
Fortnite save the world isn’t a free game. I just let me son by it for the ps4, because he keeps wanting to buy vbucks, and I won’t let him spend his allowance on virtual currency. With save the world there are missions to earn in-game money, but the game itself costs money.

Please cite the applicable statutes and case law.

Serious request.

I'm genuinely curious which you think apply to this scenario.

No. It would take you 30 seconds of googling to understand it. You’re just being a troll.
