I'm rapidly emptying a mug full of some enjoyable Rwanda coffee....and looking at the mug now, I think it'll be emptied immediately after I click the "post reply" button

Well, I have been reading - deeply immersed in, and utterly absorbed by - about the different coffee producing regions of Ethiopia (Yirgacheffe, Sidamo, Harrar, Limu and Jimma - I am familiar with coffee from the first three regions - Yirgacheffe is my favourite - but a lot less so with coffees from the other regions).

Are there other subjects, or topics, that I can read about - perhaps, for that matter, should read about - on a wet and windy Sunday afternoon?

Yes, of course.

But that will not detract from my curiosity, pleasure and enjoyment when reading about coffee from Ethiopia.

Commiserations on the cancelled travel plans - something which is always frustrating.

However, on the topic of coffee, what coffees shall comprise the "resupply" of your coffee supply?

The change in plans just happened yesterday, so I haven't had time yet to decide....but maybe something special to make up for the canceled plans

That - "something special" - sounds an excellent idea.

My coffee from Indonesia is almost finished (today's coffee was exceptionally pleasant as I found myself really enjoying those chocolate and mocha notes), and my supply of Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee is also dwindling.

I have been reading about coffees from central America, specifically, coffees from Guatemala and Honduras (as I am already quite familiar with - and greatly like - coffees from Costa Rica and El Salvador).

Anyway, while my Indonesian coffee is rapidly running out, I am still enjoying it.

Well, I have been chatting, by phone - (how wonderful it is that one can still talk to a real, live, human being about coffee on the other end of a phone: An aside: Last night, while browsing and perusing various coffee sites and articles about coffee, I was interrupted by something that described itself as "your friendly AI" that offered, with an entirely irritating - indeed, an utterly infuriating - cheerfulness, to answer any queries I may have had; with a barely suppressed muttered oath, I clicked that stupid pop-up shut with an alacrity that surprised me), anyway, I have been chatting with the person who runs one of the really good artisan coffee sites.

Their (highly regarded, award winning) Guatemalan coffee - which is what I had phoned to enquire about - has been sold out since earlier in the summer, and, for a variety of reasons (climate, conflict, coffee harvest seasons, uncertain global trading conditions, among many, many others), is unlikely to be available before next spring (April and May were the months mentioned, and, even that is not a certainty).

That meant I had to explore other options.

Earlier this evening, I received notification that my order had "been shipped", or, is (was) ready for collection.

That particular roaster are very good - and very swift - re delivery of orders, thus, I can expect to receive it over the next two days.

Now, given that I have just ordered some coffee, and given that it is currently en route to me, I am (almost) at a complete loss to understand just why I was browsing yet other coffee sites, and proceeded to email one (I've been a regular customer of theirs - which possibly prompted a reply within 30 minutes) to discuss an Ethiopian coffee - a brand new Ethiopian coffee from Yirgacheffe - coffee that they had just put up on their site.
