Indeed, I already have the optic fiber cable. It was just a few euros. And it’s less visible than Ethernet cable.
 
Ok, if that's ok with your network provider then I'd say go for it. I'm used to the Nordics where the network or broadband provider is the only one that will move the fiberbox that's in the house that usually comes with a cost.
Just remember that fiber cables are a lot more fragile than copper and make sure you use the correct standard.
