Every year you seem to have problems with shipping products. How many bad luck can someone have?

Oh I'm also meant to pick my phone on Friday at the Amsterdam store . But found out I had to travel for work. Do you know if it will be fine to pick up on Sunday instead?

If last year is any clue you will get it when it leaves China, but it won't say much until Thursday night when it leaves Netherlands to your location.

You‘ll normally not see any update up to Thursday afternoon. It will be directly switch from processing to „pick up ready“. I got it also last year with launch on iP X.! Don’t worry, it’s normal! (Germany)
I ordered mine via T-Mobile Germany with a retraction of contract cancellation and with an extension at about mid day on the first day. On the phone he said yes all ok, confirmed my email and address as well as tel number, and since then I haven't heard a thing. Not even had the usual sms/email confirming the contract change. Online it still says my contract is cancelled to the original end of contract date. Very strange. iPhone Xs Max 256Gb Gold.
I am not too bothered as if they haven't done it I will move my already cancelled contract to a cheaper provider anyway.

You think there will only be tracking info once they are in Europe ? I would a least like to see a shipping notification on the website.

We won't have any tracking numbers/tracking in general until the last second. We're not able to track the journey of our phones like the people in the US.
The products will be shipped out of CZ and NL (depending on your country) most likely using DHL Express.

I really can’t remember who delivered last time , UPS or DHL. What I do remember is it came from NL.

All stuff I've ordered so far at apple.com has been shipped from Milan via Koeln on UPS. As to the iPhones I can't tell as it's the first time I've ordered one through the online store. Anyway, still no tracking info on UPS's website/app and my order still shows as preparing to ship...
