Managed to order it earlier this morning! Here's my specs.

Aiming 27th Oct - Nov 4th
 
As always: you and I have the same problem. It shows ‘null’ in the app and is blank on the website. I called Apple. The lovely lady said everything is ok and delivery is planned for 26 October. So no worries :)
Exactly the same issue here, but I'm glad to know that there aren't any issues with our orders. Thanks for calling them so I don't have to, haha!
 
And for Oct 29 - Nov 2, has Apple charged the credit card already?
Someone at Apple Support told me on the phone that Apple typically charges the card 5 days (or once the item is ready to be shipped) before arrival.
 
What is the probability of visiting one of the apple sores on Tuesday and buying a custom build (e.g. with 32 or 64gb or ram)?
Do you recon they will have machines on stock?
 
And for Oct 29 - Nov 2, has Apple charged the credit card already?

Ordered 16” M1 Pro 32GB 2TB on Monday evening, delivery 4-9 Nov (Sweden).

Checked yesterday only to see problem with payment (no notification). Try again this morning with 2 different cards, Apple store says problem with authorisation. Bank says no problem. Apple sales (phone) say can do new order but delivery late Nov. Can they take payment for existing order over phone or let me do a bank transfer? No.

In two minds now - could try again tomorrow, but might as well wait for the reviews at this stage.

If you don't need a specific keyboard layout, I think if you're early enough, you might have a chance. Also check with apple-certified resellers. In Germany, Cyberport should have them available from Sept 28 on.

Have you tried calling Apple Support and asking them to update your payment manually? I had once similar issues, and had it solved by having the customer support specialist enter my card details manually.

Still no charges on my CC either, still having 27th and Nov 4th. I'm getting cold feet about the 16GB of RAM tho.. Will try to test it out as soon as it arrives.....

I did call the number on the store website, which got me through to sales. I think this is what they were suggesting, but for a new order. When I explained (again) that I already had an order number he put me through to tech support. Who (to cut a long story short) said I needed to call sales.
