We needed to wait till tonight to place the order.
Estimated delivery Nov. 25 - Dec 2! Not sure if it's due to being in Finland, and getting a Finnish keyboard or just having waited a couple of days.

Anyway, very happy to have a 16" M1 Max 64 Gb Memory and 2 TB SSD on the way, eventually.

It seems we're in the same boat in regards to the shipping estimate to Germany. Please let me know once Apple has pushed any update.
I will if i don't forget! I am on the fence about cancelling and getting a 16" instead though. Maybe i have luck with local apple stores because no way i am waiting through these ridiculous shipping times.

I did cancel my 14" and ordered the 16". But I did this on 18th, so still got early November slots.
If you're ok with German keyboard, it might be worth checking Cyberport as well. According to their website they should have both the 14" and 16" MacBooks on 28th.

Everyone is getting mid November now, got a couple of friends who ordered custom 64GB and got last week of November with M1 Max.
Yep, same here, so it must be the 64 Gb that's the trigger. That's ok, I'd rather get the machine I want than hurry.

I need to unpack my late 2013 13" to see if I could still live with a smaller screen. I'm on a 16" now and while I love the screen size, the size has stopped me from taking it to work and back. So either I need to adapt back to a smaller screen, or I need to finally start growing some muscles and stop being a small kid about a 2kg computer.

Is there anybody from France here? Is iOccasion a good place to sell my 16"? I'm in Belgium, but we have the same keyboard.

I downsized from the 16" to the 13"MBA Air and now going for the 14". I'm full remote so I rather have a small laptop that I hook up to two external 4k Displays.

I think the 16" is a great size for folks who work in the office and only have one monitor, or like say go to the client and you need a lot of screen estate in your laptop because you ain't connecting to anything.

Guys do you know where to find information when the new macs are going to be available in actual apple stores?

They will be available from October 26th. At least that's what almost always happened with other product launches.

I did call the number on the store website, which got me through to sales. I think this is what they were suggesting, but for a new order. When I explained (again) that I already had an order number he put me through to tech support. Who (to cut a long story short) said I needed to call sales.
Just in case anyone has similar problems, don’t be too hasty like I was and press 1 for sales. There’s an option 4 for existing orders. Problem solved.

Yes I am, but don't know about iOccasion, it seems to be linked to the macgeneration forum, maybe you can ask there.
As to me I will definitely go with https://fr.e-recycle.com/fr/recyclage , less hassle...

Hope the price on my 13 TB late 2016 doesn't drop too quickly, I placed an order for a 14" with M1 max 32 gb, and delivery status show November 18 24 :/

I will actually be only using 1 external screen with it. Sometimes even without. I did a lot of coding like that, on my 13". As a matter of fact, it's how I'm currently using it. I had it all packed up for shipping but took it out again to test. Those bezels! :) The screen is OK for surfing, but for anything more serious, 16" is a big advantage. That is, when working without external screen. I think I can live with that. When chilling out, I used to go full screen on a couple of apps and swipe between them.

I checked the price e-recycle was offering me and it was decent, but not very high. Less than half of what I paid. Prices at iOccasion seem much better. I already sold quite a bit of camera stuff over eBay so I'm used to dealing directly with buyers. I think I may give it a try. But first... order the new machine!

I have my 14" ordered with the AirPods, but so far it seems the AirPods will arrive on the 26th of October while the Mac is still saying deliver between 27th of October and 4th of November right now

My best friend has upgraded its base MBP 13" 2013 for a MPB 16" M1 Pro 1TB w/ RAM upgrade 32GB
He was really hesistant about one thing : 16 or 32 GB RAM. Since he wants to keep it around 8 years like the previous one, he takes 32gb.

Me too. I'm wondering when they start to ship them? Maybe they are already in the EU?
I'm 95% sure that they are already in the EU and will be shipped on Monday from Prague, Eindhoven or Milan via UPS or DHL Express

I decided to cancel my order for October 26. I noticed I was already eyeing for more RAM, even though I didn’t have this machine yet. That’s not good. So I found an APR that gives 5% discount. And I will get back 21% VAT in January. So I went for: 16 Inch MacBook Pro M1 MAX, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD.

I will have to wait longer, but luckily I have a MacBook Pro 2019, which I bought in May last year. So I can wait a bit longer. ;)

Hmmm.. do you think that 16 GB RAM isn't enough?

Ordered a silver baseline 14-inch MacBook Pro. The only thing BTO is a US keyboard instead of the default Dutch one. Estimated time of delivery: 17 Nov - 24 Nov.

Unfortunately, not. I opened Xcode and figured I already was at 13/16GB RAM. I don’t want a machine again that it is taking forever to compile my apps. Also, I would need to close Parallels to let Xcode work.
Interesting. I'm not very sure about the RAM yet. I guess I'll wait until Oct 26 and if it's not enough, I can still return it within 14 days.
