Highlight of the night: Wogan saying the girls like bouncing on big balls.... genius!!

Latvia's entry was the one i voted for, very catchy.

Germany's entry was also very poppy and could have won if it weren't for the political motives.

Denmark's entry was also very good, very europop

Bah Russia here we come (again!) after United's win in Moscow now this! Russias really getting in there with Europe :p
 
:rolleyes:Can anyone explain why ALL the countries, even those who do not qualify for the final, have a vote?? Surely, if only the final 24 had that right it would go a long way towards re-aligning the eastern lean.....just a thought!;)
 
It wouldn't solve anything, as the winners of the semifinals are already highly biased.

The only thing that could help, at least in the west, is to allow only ONE vote per phone.
 
I get the feeling the UK and perhaps France/Spain/Germany might pull out in the future being the four largest contributors. Rumours had gone around suggesting the UK will no longer be contributing the vast sums it does due to political voting (Being the largest contributor).

Had a Eurovision party last night, voted for Ukraine personally. At least we wern't last... Oh wait...

To be honest Terry is completely out of step with Eurovision now anyway. He mentions in that article that Bosnia and Spain got more votes despite having rubbish songs. The songs weren't rubbish Terry, they just aren't to your taste. I wonder how we'd have done if Terry had not picked Andy Abrahams to go through to the last two back on Making Your Mind Up some months ago. Maybe Michelle Gayle's song, which wasn't instantly forgettable like Andy's, would have picked up a few points here and there.

I love the Terry Wogan remarks they are brilliant but true crappiness is what I am ultimately there for :cool:

Side Note: Armenia should have won, she was a fox ;)
