Then I'm with you two, it's pure hilarity! Plus I like being reminded of just how obscure Terry Wogan can be - I can't imagine watching without him presenting.
 
The Eurovision Song Contest means three things:

1. The UK won't win (it's the politics, you see!)
2. Lousy music
3. Terry Wogan getting gradually drunk on Bailey's and acting surprised at the two above facts!

I'll be watching 😀
 
Well, we're watching tonight and we've even downloaded scorecards! 😱

So, there's a Eurotastic evening in the offing here. Luckily we're well stocked up with alcohol.

EDIT: Blimey, the National Lottery has been invaded! At least the boy Holmes is off our screens while we wait for Eurovision. 😀
 
I know - I'm just about to leg it to the offy for some more beers - we're running dangerously low for a Eurovision night...

Be sure to get a trans-European selection – some Stella, Grolsch, Carlsberg... you can drink your way around the continent and with luck you won't be able to remember it in the morning. 😀

Just realised, I have no idea who our entry is or what it sounds like, probably just as well.

edit: WTF is going on with these Latvians 😕 😱 They appear to be wearing dust sheets sewn in to poorly fitting 'suits'.

edit2: actually, although a bit odd, they were very good.

It's like Boyzone meets The Flying Pickets. And is it just my telly or do all the entrants so far this year seem to have very bad fake tans? It's like they've all been slightly scorched in a small fire.

EDIT: I take it all back. They had a little robot man and a balloon heart. Genius.

I got some Becks, some Pringles and some Penguins for whoever's interested. 😛 And I just had my tea, so I'm all set. 🙂

Is it me or is Wogan particularly vitriolic this time around?

Gekko, many thanks for the screenshots for those who can't watch it at home — it's nice to see what everyone's talking about, although I've got Massive Attack on the headphones at the mo which is probably a little better to listen to. 🙂
