Good evening Athens! Hull calling! Here are the votes of the East Yorkshire jury...

My score sheet has Denmark and Finland in a dead heat – however, I'm giving the Finns a bonus point because they are, to my recollection at least, the only act in Eurovision history to bring weaponry onto the stage, and that's something that has been sorely lacking in recent years.

I was accused earlier in this thread of having no soul – I think it's only proper that I give my support to the only act to have clearly sold theirs to Beelzebub.

See you in Helsinki next year.

Well, that started off really slow and suddenly picked up. Never thought I'd say this, but Thank God for the Germans!!

My scoresheet shows it being between Sweden, Finland, Germany, Romania and the UK. However, from my previous attempts, this means Malta will win.

I hope not though. He wasn't as bad as that French entry, but I could count the notes he actually hit on one hand.

For me, the UK thing has one thing going for it and that's the british accent, but that's not enough to get a vote from me.

I agree that the Latvians were original and skilled, but the song didn't do it for me.

I'm voting for France, Finland and a couple of the others.
