It's pretty awesome that this work on all 6.x firmwares, not just the latest one.
Make sure you update your firmware through iTunes. If you did an OTA update, you will have to first restore through iTunes before you jailbreak.
Thanks Evad3rs!
This is incorrect information.
I agree, it does sound useful. Unfortunately, I can't think of any definition for 'precise GPS data' that you can't access through a number of (free) apps available on the App Store.
So I'm also curious about what he meant.![]()
jeeze dont u guys have work to do so i can actually use cydia?![]()
apps, themes, widgets mostly.
You don't HAVE to do an iTunes upgrade, but it was recommended by the dev team. So, technically incorrect, but practically might want to follow the advice. What is incorrect?
There are backup programs that can help. I can't make a recommendation, haven't quite gone that route myself, only researched them partially.Anyone know if it is possible to save my cydia apps and those settings from one jailbreak to the next? It took so long to get everything just right!
Did anybody else's JB'd device jump 5 hours into the future? My iPod seems to think it's 6pm instead of 1pm.
So you just like voiding your warranty (it does, even if you lie about it and tell Apple you never did), and violating your contract with AT&T (and basically laughing at all of the people who pay the legitimate tethering fee by stealing it yourself instead)?
I'd say just get some free apps and be cool with it! Sounds like you're ok with everything else (even if you rationalize it)....

Forces?
Last time I checked I was still able to purchased whatever product I choose to from any given company, nobody is forcing you to do anything, you freely chose iOS.
Dang, it sure jumped! My phone is showing 6:21pm instead of 12:21pm. When I go to settings, the "Time Zone" section has busy wheel. I'm going to try and do a network reset and see if that fixes it.
Mine has been sitting at the final "Patching Kernel..." screen for a long time. Anyone else have this happen?
