Ever run from the cops?

I would never run from the po-pos in a vehicle. I hate that! Every other day in LA, some ****** is on tv going 90 down the wrong side of the street with 20 cop cars following. WTF?
Anyway, when I was a teenager I did run from cops several times (on foot).
I was a tagger and usually I had friends with me. I was pretty fun. But I'm an adult now and I'll be damned if I go to jail. So I don't put myself in risky situations anymore. F*** the police!

Two things.
1) Don't run from them,
2) But if you do, make sure you have Magnesium trucks and ceramic bearings
...and a good kick and low center of gravity help to achieve maximum speeds.

I was once coming back from an afternoon out and cruised into town going a bit too fast (typically I'm very speed conscious). This cop passed me, then in my rearview mirror I see his brake lights go on and he starts a U-turn. Luckily, I was close enough to a side street of a side street and I pulled off to the curb and went dead in the water.
I passed at least three other cops that night, all out cruising ominously. I doubt they were looking for me, but I've never encountered so many police within the space of five or ten minutes, all within a mile or two of each other. It was highly coincidental.

I've run from all manner of law enforcement types during my younger years. The list includes police officers, security guards, and railroad security. I've run on foot, bicycle, and automobile. I was only caught twice, once on foot and once on bicycle. Never arrested, but I've seen the back of a police car and been given strict warnings. It's amazing what dumb things we do in our youth, but I'll save the stories for another time.
i'm too much of a goodie goodie to ever be in trouble with cops. but if i ever was chased by cops, i envision my self running from them parkour style. jumping from rooftops etc as i'm getting interesting i doing that sort of thing, not the cops part, the parkour part.

HA! These days, it's more like *ZAAAAAAP* "Freeze, or I'll taze you!". I've seen too many stores about 10 year olds getting tazed, mentally challanged people getting tazed, a guy going into diabetic shock, etc.

Anyway, I can't comment on running from cops. I'd like to keep my clearance.

house parties. the cops showed up. bailed out the back door and over a fence the one time. was a pretty slick move except the other side of the fence was 1 foot deep mud. still managed to hoof it away.
the other time, I bailed out the front door while the cops came in the side, but that was after watching a guy go right through a screen door, non-stop. That was one of the funniest things I've ever seen (although the parents weren't too happy). He ended up giving the kid some money to cover to the screen door afterwards.
I do have this growing urge for when the next time the alarm accidentally goes off at the local Future Shop or Best Buy to stop, look around all panicky while in between the security things and then just run. I'd like to see what they'd do. I'd never steal anything of course, but for some reason, I just want to try it.
