That's all that's known so far. They could have exciting updates besides the new chips.

But Apple doesn't do anything exciting anymore. The best they can do is Vision Pro - nifty expensive hardware with no software.

An interesting product refresh could come anytime...

Just none have in over a decade.

The last interesting non-chip updates that Apple had were NFC/Applepay, 3D Touch, and the Touch Bar. Apple totally botched the last two, never giving them good software + never making them standard, so no third parties bothered supporting them, and...

well, Apple seems to have learned better than to release half-baked ideas for existing products, but they don't seem to have realized that that applies to new products, too, so we got Vision Pro and HomePod. Unfortunately they don't seem to have learned the idea of actually fully baking ideas.
