It is impressive. You can't appreciate the weight/thinness difference until you have it in your hand - all of the reviewers nailed that.

I really like the way the white + aluminum looks, especially around the bottom of the device. the speaker holes and fittings around the headphone and lightning jacks scream "premium quality".

For me I had iPhones from 3G to 4S, and now the 5

Fast CPU, length is not as good as Samsung GS3 4.8" screen

Speaker is way worse, volume settings seem much lower than my 4S

Black is ok, White was nice too, but I think the black is sleek and well sexy however dropped down to a 16GB from all my others being 32gb, will just have to manage music better.

New charging jack is nice, but I am ok with the different cable, just need a car charger now, or another sync cable.

Black shows fingerprints more than the white ones in the Apple store did, but it is ok, screen cleaner will be used more often.

They moved some setting around in the iOS like brightness and wallpaper are tied together, the store is now built into iTunes, minor quirks to me

charges very slow

battery does not last long at all from my usage already, but LTE is really fast

Case selection really sucks, I had to get a cheap rubber case from Best Buy for $23 since they seem to be the only ones carrying cases?

Overall I am happy with the device coming from my 4. I dont have any scuff marks per se but I do have a scratch on the glass that is driving me nuts. I am going to an AT&T store tomorrow to see what they can do. I tried to shoot some pics but the scratch won't photograph.

haven't had a chance to play with it much but there are a few things that will take some getting used to.

i'm with those who think the 4s just feels like a much more solid build. my brain is probably just wrongly relating weight with quality, but the 5 has a cheaper feel to it. probably just something i need to get used to. it should be a good thing that its lighter. the glass is thinner so if you tap on the screen it has a more plasticky feel but again something to just get used to.

the two little things that are really irking me are the vibrate and the home button. the home button on my 4s is nearly silent when i click it, where on my 5 i get a popping sound... much like the sound of hitting the power button. and the vibrate just has a cheaper louder sound.

i know this is an illusion but with the screen being longer it appears narrower to my brain. i was one who wished for a larger screen but with the previous aspect ratio. i remember loving my ipod touch's screen when i had a moto droid because it was wider.

sorry to sound like a negative nancy... i will probably come to love it after using it. just my initial impression.
