Everyone please do this iPad dead pixel test on your new iPad so you can be sure that you don't have any dead pixels. It's a simple test where you save full blocks of an individual color on your iPad in full screen mode. It's not an in-browser test. The sooner you do this simple test, the sooner you can exchange it within 14 days for a new one in the event you encounter any dead pixels and/or other issues.

Be sure you do this test on your iPad!

Click here for the complete test and instructions.

NOTE: Make sure after downloading each of the colors to your iPad, you zoom in full screen.

Post your results in this thread.

I checked my iPad on every color, and I have no dead pixels. What about you?

Absolute perfection at this end. No yellow tint, light bleed, dead pixels, stuck dirt/hair or any other such nonsense. Or if there is its not noticeable under normal conditions and I'm not going looking for problems.

No dead pixels. White screen test actually made the warmer yellow tint less obvious and I really don't think it's an issue now for me. Warm, but not warm enough to exchange.

Thanks!

Have a row of like 10 dead pixels or some sort of screen damage. Unbelievable. I've had to return each item in my sig multiple times. As much as I love Apple, every time I have to exchange a shiny new product I think more and more about spending my money elsewhere, if at all.
