I returned the Watch using Express 12hr through DHL if thats what you mean. Not sure if anything was defined when I was in talks with the senior advisor. The same advisor is ignoring me now which is nice.

Ha Ha .....we meet again on a different thread. Think you are I are the exception to this mystical express replacement thingy.

Do you guys have AppleCare+ ? Express Replacement is available only for AppleCare+ customers.

I do have Applecare+ and I've mentioned it to anyone who wants to listen but it doesn't seem to have an impact.

Hmm I know the first time I talked to someone in Support they acknowledged the fact that I had AppleCare+, but they didn't say anything about Express Replacement. The second time I contacted support I straight up asked about it and they were more than happy to set it up for me. Maybe it's not something they're pushing because of the supply constraint?

I'm waiting to return mine until the inventory shortage is settled. Went to apple store yesterday and they wanted to take it and make me wait. I tried everything to get around the policy with zero success. Had them make an internal note of the issue and told them I'd be back in July or August when they had stock to swap it out.

The senior advisor I'm dealing with is calling me early this week so I'll ask about the express replacement. They've had my watch for a week now so I'm hoping they'll move on a decision soon.

Im in the UK, had a SS 42mm replaced as it had a gouge/tool mark in it. Picked up on the Weds, apple acknowledged receipt on the friday and I received the replacement the following friday.

Looking at my watch I noticed that there is something stuck between the stainless steel and the glass. Nothing I have tried will remove whatever it is. It's been there since I received my watch I just figured it would go away but it remains there. What should I do? Will Apple send me a replacement?

What exactly is it? Piece of paper maybe? Dust? Depending on what it is, Apple would replacement. If you have AppleCare+ you can request an Express Replacement and they overnight you a replacement and you send yours in. If not, you will have to send in your watch casing and twiddle your thumbs and wait for a replacement.

It really does take a week to get a repair back. And if you have a chance, for the love of god if you get it replaced, inspect it. This is what happens when these things are in such short supply. It really sucks not having a watch for what is going on 3 weeks. Each of these was right after I opened the box in the store. The third one, the store had me call Customer Relations, who is now monitoring my repair progress. I can't wait until next week when it goes almost 4 weeks without a watch.

I can't really tell what it is, it's not very noticeable until your in the right light. I went in today and they are sending it off to the repair center. Not sure if I'm getting a replacement one or a brand new one. Is there suppose to be a gap between the enclosure and glass?

No, but screen separation is one the problems people are reporting.

Oh I didn't know that. Thanks for the information. Does anyone know if Apple is actually replacing the screens? Or are they sending new units?

Pretty much anytime you send in a device to Apple, they send you a new unit. The only time you get your actual device back is when you do in-store repairs.

I dropped mine off sat, still says - service requested :(

I dropped mine off Monday for a sticky crown. As of yesterday (Tuesday), repair tracking said it had been received, service completed, and moved to product replacement pending status. But it's been stuck there ever since. Are replacement units also supply constrained?

Where can you check the status?

Replacement process was extremely fast! Had to get mine replaced last Thursday. Called in at night, sent it in last Friday, got the replacement yesterday.

SS Black Sport in case you're wondering.

You should have an email with your repair number.

Cool, did you arrange it in store? I'm going on 2 business days not including the drop off, so it will definitely be slower than yours. Hoping for tomorrow though. Mine was a stainless steel body too. Can you tell if your replacement is new or refurbished?

Does product replacement pending mean anything or are they just fixing the device?

Depends on what exchange route you're going with. But as a rule of thumb, if you send in a device, to Apple, they send you a replacement. So they're just processing your 'order' basically and are boxing up your replacement.

I just dropped off my defective casing at FedEx. Could not have been smoother. Contacted Apple Sunday, my request was processed Monday, my replacement was shipped that night and arrived to me on Tuesday. Have a brand new unblemished Apple Watch on my wrist and was never without a device.
