Too bad the single city clock widget is so MASSIVE, like it would kill them to design widgets the size of an app icon. I only really need 2 of these.

In my opinion, or better said for my way of using it, the clock widget is senseless. Why not give an option to see and turn on/off alarms?

For me it's useful, as I have family and employees in 3 timezones (at least now I can't travel, so myself crossing the timezones is not an issue for now). I've been using World Clock Pro, and probably still will after the dev brings it up to iOS14.

On AW I use the complications to show the other timezones, but the truth is nowadays I don't actually wear it for anything other than working out, so an iPhone widget is more than welcome.

As for alarms, I have one - 6:30 AM, daily  And only on the Apple watch, as my phone (or any other screen other than AW / Kindle) actually never makes it into the bedroom.

But I think they might add the alarms and countdowns widgets later.

Bring back the iPod icon! Heck just make it an iPod player, and have Apple Music a separate app that can populate your library. The library should just be able to support local and remote media. Then you can have Spotify as a service and have it leverage the iPod interface.

Then other companies can send you feature requests to enhance it, and you just code it. Yes I'm talking to Apple directly.

Sadly, it won't happen. This is not Steve Jobs Apple. This is Tim Cook's Apple. They killed the library in the TV app just to sell Apple TV+. I won't be surprised if one fine day they kill the library in the Music App too just to sell Apple Music. Oh yes, they are quite well on the way. Try viewing lyrics of locally stored songs in offline mode.

I just checked the TV App on my iPhone (iOS 14), and my Mac, and they both have tabs for the Library. I highly doubt that's going away anytime soon, if ever as Apple TV+ is Apple originals, while they still obviously want people to buy other tv shows and movies through them

Not having 3D Touch reminds me how much I use it.

Long tapping for Haptic Touch isn’t the worst alternative, it’s just nowhere near as fast, and is really difficult to select text with when using the keyboard.

To the future, I guess.

First time I’ve seen a digital clock loose time!

Take a few print-screens of the sizes before you update. Then you can see if they performed a cleanup, or just gave it a different name, e.g. added the majority of it to "System"

Ahh...no. Don’t need a screenshot to see the relative sizes of the new segments as opposed to the previous segment breakdowns.
It did not relegate the previous "other" to the system.
This "other" segment has been very inconsistent for many testers. b2 reduced it quite a bit. b3 has made it inconsequential for me.
YMMV.

Yeah I’m not a fan of the new Alarms interface at all. I preferred the dials as it was easier to set and change with one hand and minimal effort. Keep hoping with each beta they’ll go back to it but 3 betas in and no change so this new style is probably here to stay.
Agree I also liked the dials much better. Was easier since I mostly just changed the hour, and it was like a game to try to spin the wheel and get the correct new number on the first try,

To anyone who says “Show Apple Music” toggle is gone, you are an Apple Music subscriber so Apple removes that option. If you are not, the option will remain available. It doesn’t make sense for Apple to let user remove 60% of Apple Music feature while being a subscriber.

The clock widget for me is losing time too! Have it set to UK time and it’s keeps falling massively behind! 20mins behind the actual time earlier!

Clock widget is behaving very bizarre. Mine doesn't know how to read the time either 🤪

I've noticed this too. Reported it through feedback app
