Yes, the address bar at the bottom on the screen on my iPhone is not a great idea.Still not a fan of the address bar being at the bottom. It gets in the way when trying to click things at the very bottom of pages.

It's a bit of annoying when I'm at the bottom of a page, and I have to scroll all the way back to top then will I be able to pull down to refresh.. Maybe I'm missing some shortcut..why do you need reload button when you swipe down to reload?
I felt the same way initially. Once you get used to the gestures, Safari is better in some ways (worse in others). The focus stuff seems a bit much, maybe it will be more useful on my iPad if I ever try to use it for work again. Otherwise it’s not much different from ios14.iOS 15 is starting to look like another “let’s move the furniture around and see if that looks better” upgrade to me. No wonder my 6s is also getting it, nothing significant performance-wise that justifies dropping it.
I swear I read this kind of rant every year. For sure, someone will say it again for iOS 16.Missing the days when iOS updates were exciting. Love Apple but this is worse than meh. Long list of user requested features still ignored.
I forget about that the second day I use my iPad. App Library is where I launch my apps now. No need for a page full of app icons. Now let’s redesign iPadOS grid view and fix it, bring back iPadOS 14 layout.
I haven’t, I didn’t want to install it on my daily driver and the other usable phone I have access to is an iPhone 6s so there’s other issues I’d run into there 😅😂Have you tested the beta yet? The search bar was jumping from the top to the bottom repeatedly while using safari. It was ridiculous, and not in line with their perceived goal of bringing the user elements closer to the bottom of the screen. That said, I’ll admit that it looks boxy in beta 3, which is in opposition to all the rounded corners we are seeing.
I agree the location is worse than the previous location but a fix for your issue is to tap anywhere on the page and the address bar will disappear.Still not a fan of the address bar being at the bottom. It gets in the way when trying to click things at the very bottom of pages.
While I am glad it works for you, it's still not a good reason to leave it "broken", different people different use scenario, either you remove the grid view and make the Library default or fix the gridI forget about that the second day I use my iPad. Tapping at the top of the screen (above the address bar) takes you back to the top of the page. It's a bit of annoying when I'm at the bottom of a page, and I have to scroll all the way back to top then will I be able to pull down to refresh.. Maybe I'm missing some shortcut..
You reminded me!This opens up the possibility of building a footlong iPhone without requiring the user to jog their focus.
It was fine on iPhone 6S, 7, & 8. The FaceID phones with the bigger screens and different aspect ratios need the URL field to be lowered nearer to the home swipe up pill to use Safari one-handed. The Reachability work around isn't convenient. Entering text in the URL field on an iPhone XS meant I had to use both hands in old Safari. With new Safari, I can use one. This was the only Safari change I wanted after going from iPhone 7 to iPhone XS.Just bring back old Safari. It was fine. This release is just fiddling with things to say you did.
It was definitely more stable and 13 but enough people had problems early on with 14 that there has been a lot of requests for more stability in 15I believe iOS 14 was refined and stable. Best in years in this regard.

Yeah, the focus seems to be more on the iPad which is definitely needed. Apple has been slow in pushing the iPad to its full potential. I would appreciate that if I still owned one. I may get the upcoming 6th generation iPad mini if the rumors of a major redesign (a smaller iPad Air 4) become a reality.I felt the same way initially. That’s great that you don’t care, and it’s fine that you’re upset about the changes. But let’s not just make stuff up on it all, because you have no idea about who cares or not either way.To be frank, I don't care. The UX change is awful, and the number of people this will hurt seriously outweighs the six people that feel the way you do.
Huh? Way easier to tap the search bar when it’s at the bottom that all the way at the top.iOS 15 is starting to look like another “let’s move the furniture around and see if that looks better” upgrade to me. 100000000%I'm glad that they seem to be focusing on stability for this release based on the early beta reports that I've heard. We don't need big changes each year. refinement is a feature too
