I only have the dot during setup, not visible any other time. But I believe location is tracked continuously as the icon stays and the battery drains significantly.
Odd my dot is always there…

like others I’ve noticed no new clownfish wallpaper and it’s 8 fonts like before (I’m assuming 2 have been modified) but certainly not 12

IMHO the Clownfish wallpaper is so iconic it should be reserved for the next major iPhone generation. Perhaps the design with no notch?

Any idea how to make Siri ding again? Also, anyone else missing the workout setting inside the Apple Watch app?

My Siri is just silent now too - is that the new “sound” people were referring to 🤣

edit: maybe just never noticed but guess she never makes a sound… if you ask her she just says there’s no need and it’s more peaceful this way

My beats won’t connect anymore on the latest beta. I’m guessing Bluetooth connection is broken. I have been trying to pair them for the last 10 min with no luck

So happy to see new fonts for time, the first lot were bland. Clown fish wallpaper is so nostalgic but still looks pro quality upscale (not as bad as that disgusting one going about that looks like its been liquified lol)

I got the new sound in my car, but I am trying to make it occur with just my phone and I can't.

Interesting. Seems I got a buggy version 🤣

I have no new wallpaper, Siri sound, notifications don’t show I have any until I swipe up on lock screen, green dot on earth is always on, (yes I’ve restarted haha) also what fonts did they remove to add the 2 new ones? Because there is only 8 like before.

also, no battery improvements this round, if there is it is super minuscule- my 13 pro max is flying through battery still

Have so many concerns on my favorite feature: iCloud Library Sharing

1. Gotta say its sad this was the time to expand on more family members, but no, we big families are the big-expression-reason/inspiration for these features to exist; but get somehow left out. We should have a big role in promoting and legitimizing this features, it's just sad after so many years with 6 limit, its here again

2. "Moving photos" + "Everyone is able to edit/delete" sounds scary, so, will the photos I choose to share actually LEAVE my personal library and anyone who participates can edit/delete the only copy of the photo? sounds bad

3. What if I've shared many photos with my wife this previous years (airdrop or whatever) how does it handles duplicates? sounds like a huge potential mess (also, what if she edited some of the photos but you - the creator of the photo - like better the unedited version?)

4. "Whoever creates it (the shared library) provides storage for all content" < hmmm? so people I invite will eat up my iCloud Storage Subscription ... instead of Apple taking care of figuring if a participant is already paying for his/her own space and avoiding (at least for those items) to eat up my space?

5. How good is the face recognition algorythm? iOS15 f inds 700 photos of me, but Google Photos finds (and its accurate) 1,700........

6. How does it interact / implications vs Shared Albums?

7. Which data / quality would shared items have?

I'm sure there's more to consider ...

I did some very quick testing by myself. The Photos app (in macOS) defaults to “Both Libraries” after you create a shared library, and if I switch to “Personal Library,” the photos I added are no longer there—they only appear in Shared Library. So at first glance, yes, it seems someone could simply delete the photos you move to the Shared Library. I would hope they would simply return to your Personal Library, although I did not test that. Absolutely horrible if they simply move to the trash, and would require you to make a duplicate of any photo you decide to share.

What does that mean?
I meant to say M1 iPads with Memory Swap, because the 64GB iPad Air 5 doesn't have that feature but still has Stage Manager enabled, despite Apple insisting Memory Swap is a requirement for Stage Manager. But I botched the whole thing.
