It was always frustrating to me that I couldn't add a song to my library or "love" it directly from the Home Screen either.
We used to be able to do that easily on Apple Watch (Now Playing..). I missed those days when software was just making sense..

Can’t really see how they would improve on a journaling app like Day One so I don’t see the point. I think this is one of those features best left to third party devs.
It doesn't need to be better than Day One. Apple Notes doesn't beat any great note apps out there in term of features but it's still the best all around note app on iPhone.

About time Apple Music gets a feature that Pandora had since day 1. Maybe in another 7 years, they will add the dislike feature that will automatically skip the song that was disliked.
Apple Music had it years ago, but have removed it for whatever reason - probably because people complained about it or were triggering it accidentally.

You've already answered your own question.
Not a fan of the growth of the subscription model myself… but developers have to make a living or good useful apps will vanish, it should not be a hobby. There are some apps that died which I really miss. Plus,DayOne is a mostly superb app and worth the money. Stoic has an outstanding dev that updates almost weekly and works amazingly on his app, it’s a pleasure to support that endeavor.

You really should read Philip K Dick's "UBIK" .

This assumption keeps popping up over and over again but it’s wrong. A monthly subscription will allow a developer to lay back and do “nothing” while the money keeps rolling in. Aside from the occasional compatibility update little needs to be done. The best developers don’t charge based on subscriptions but on frequent minor/major feature updates only. And in contrast to subscriptions I’m perfectly willing to pay for those.

Bring back * - ***** system of music rating and we are back in time in IOS 6-7 😂

It would be cool if you added illustrations to show the 'extend wallpaper' function! This is one of the more interesting features/additions to me :)

I wish Music would stop deleting songs from playlists when I delete albums or songs from my library. That’s akin to songs disappearing from mixtapes I made whenever I sell/gift/lose/lend-and-never-get-back an LP or CD.
The fact that you can add tracks to playlists without adding them to the library clearly shows that there are no conceptual/systemic restrictions on the software side in keeping the two separate.

It’s bad software behaviour that doesn’t properly respect the playlist metaphor, and probably an oversight from the time when iTunes held actual copies of your music and wasn’t a frontend for a server.
Even then it was questionable why playlists couldn’t hold tracks independently of your library.

If peeps at Pixelmator can live without subscription bullbull, so could the devs of a diary or notes app.
Subscriptions are mostly just a way to milk the customers without adding any actual value, nothing else.
..and beside, if Day One is not a subscription based perhaps it would be sell so much more and render Apple's Journal irrelevant ...

I guess the closest Apple can get is the 👎🏼“play less” button…. Not very difficult to change it to a “dislike” button.

The only thing that you STILL CAN'T DO in the lockscreen, is the volume control..☹️

You have to push the side hard buttons, in order to change volume!!!

There was available in the past softwares, but i don't know why the stopped it...

Unacceptable...
