Such a small change, yet the two phrases have entirely different meanings.
Been a thing for the longest time. Garageband on iOS is free and has it built in.How about letting me create my own ringing tones.
They have access to less data than Apple will device side, and you shouldn't trust them with the data they do have. How about DayOne or Stoic. Both subscription based, but both really well worth it.
If you can't save a file to Files, something is wrong. I do this frequently and it's never been a problem on iOS 17, on beta or public release. With all the things that Apple has screwed up (taken away the ability to set custom tones for texts, disabled saving files to Files), I'm seeing iOS 17 more and more as a downgrade, not an upgrade. I was ready to buy a 15 Pro, but maybe it's time to get off the Apple train.
Yes they do, it's literally an option in Garageband for iOS and that's free. Blows my mind the things people talk about whilst having no knowledge.
They want it badly enough. It's as easy as a google search and following directions...If they don't want to do that then they obviously are fine without it.You seriously think the average user supposed to know that? 🤣
Apple needs to implement a straight forward way for a user to add their own ringtones.
what volume issue?Hopefully the removal of the new ringtones and alert tones means they’re going to fix the volume issue.
The new tones were more pleasant, less harsh--and way too quiet.what volume issue?
I use EaseUS MobiMover. OK, it's not for creating your own ringtone, but with this little program, I can literally drag and drop any song on my iMac to use as a ringtone in seconds. You seriously think the average user supposed to know that? 🤣

You don’t have to add them to the library. It’s an option.I don't want to add favorites to the library. It should have been in a different playlist. Now when I download 17.1 it sounds like I have to clean up the entire Library and start over. What was apple thinking there.
Yeah, sorry, I somehow read favorites as playlists.I was told songs that I favorite are automatically added to the library. I want to favorite songs to tell the Algorithm to recommend me stuff like that. I don't want to favorite songs and then have 100s of songs added when I use the library to add albums. Like I said, Albums that I would buy get added to the library. Songs that I like, shouldn't be added, but added to a separate favorite playlist.
But it doesn't auto skip to the next song, it still keeps playing itThey already have that. It's a thumbs-down.
Been using Apple Music since it started, don't ever remember seeing it on the lock screen, and it never auto-skipped to the next song after hitting the dislike/play less.Apple Music had it years ago, but have removed it for whatever reason - probably because people complained about it or were triggering it accidentally.
I refer to Apple's dictation as Apple Dictation Dictator.Annoyingly, this didn’t fix the dictation sound still playing when on silent mode (15 PM)
Add to library and love were both on lockscreen controls at various stages, and I definitely remember songs being skipped when I disliked them, on iOS anyway. Edit: I've been with Apple Music since 2016.Been using Apple Music since it started, don't ever remember seeing it on the lock screen, and it never auto-skipped to the next song after hitting the dislike/play less.
