It annoys me that "delete" does not really mean "delete" when it comes to many programs. If I want a photo deleted, I really want it to be gone without the option to recover it. Having to delete it again from the trash is just an annoyance.

To avoid accidental deletions it is enough to make ask the user, if he really wants to delete a photo. If he clicks yes, it should be gone forever. The iCloud leaks should have taught Apple a lesson.

If you delete a post on Facebook now, it will put it into the trash and you have to wait 30 days before you can delete it from the trash. I hate that development. On a stock photo site I use, it takes 90 (!) days from clicking "delete" until the photo is really gone.

For lights that support multiple colors and tones, there are now pre-selected options at the bottom of the interface for quickly changing the color. The color options also show up in Control Center when accessing a specific light.
Isn’t this already in Control Center? This is what I see when selecting a light with adjustable colour temperature, and my RGB lights show the same but with colours:

Maybe the majority of people just want a safety net in case they were like oh crap, wrong pic or something like that.

If you're talking about battery drain in the iOS 17 beta(s), AFAIK there's a certain un-optimized-ness to beta builds, so battery drain and storage size of the betas are not what they will be in the official release in the fall.

But, perhaps you're talking about battery drain in iOS 16
LOL. Battery doesn’t get well bro. This is not about betas you’ll see. Name me only one iOS version that made battery better. It’s just same or worse doesn’t matter if it is Beta or not.

I have 64 GB iPhone. 30 GB of space is used by iOS and their data. Other 30? I don’t know what is. When I calculate apps and photos etc just around 15 GB. And they want 12 GB space to upgrade iOS. If i delete all my apps I still won’t able to upgrade.

It is, but refreshed interface, and looks like the "favorites" at the bottom are now a horizontal scroller. The actual light picker in the accessory settings are WAY better, too.

It’s that time when we’re stuck inside the calm before the storm. Having to rehash the same articles until September when we get the new phone introduced

Ran into the same issue with my test unit; ended up disabling Message/iCloud and deleting the local conversations to free up space.

anyone still have a problem with the wall paper being blurry and when you only scale to a curtain size then the blur goes away

If you have a Mac you can create a smart album showing images not in an album - sadly not available on iOS
Now with every device functionally running the same SOC, arbitrarily limiting those features off of iOS no Longer makes any sense. For example, for music app, it can sync smart playlist and add/remove songs as per smart list rule, but you can’t make smart list rule changes on iOS. On photos app it’s even worse, because iCloud photo does NOT support syncing smart album afaik.

I wish they would allow separate notification controls in imessage for likes versus new message.
