Did they fix the “rainbow” color missing on the clock for custom wallpapers and contact cards yet? I swear iOS 26 has so many mini bugs everywhere.

The fitness App one is really nice for workouts
Don't have to go through health to put it for my Kyokushin karate classes since I can't wear my Apple watch

Would be interested to know what device you’re using and whether Adaptive Power is turned on or off? On both my old 15 Pro and my 17 Pro I’ve experienced considerably worse keyboard performance with it turned on (beta and final version on 15 Pro and 26.0.1 on 17 Pro). Hoping 26.1 fixes this!
OMG! I've never heard of this solution before. I just tried it and typing in Notes seems to be back to normal. I'll give this a real test tomorrow, but THANK YOU for this suggestion. iOS 26.1 b2 on 17PM

All I want is the music progress bar back on the CarPlay home screen and for the ellipsis glitch to be fixed. Those were the two annoying changes in 26.1b1.

Like when the Musik is playing?

I am on the free Apple Music trial right now and I dont know if it always was like this. But I need a magnifying glass. I cant even find the progress bar to skip around in the song. I kinda sorta guessed where it would need to be and found it there. It's so bad. This is not apple at all. Who made these decisions.

I hate the new MacOs so much.

My fans are constantly spinning even if I shut down all apps. Who the f green lights this ****?
Are you on an Intel Mac? My M1 Max and M2 Max MBPs still run totally silent while engaged in my normal day-to-day flow (JetBrains IDEs, docker, zoom calls, all the usual productivity apps, etc). Only time I even hear the fans is when my MBP is post-processing a 40 minute zoom call recording when the call concludes. Even during heavy development, testing, etc, I forget they even have fans.

I don't want new features with iOS 26.1, I just want them to fix the myriad of issues! iOS 26 is a dog's breakfast. Apple needs to fire whoever was in charge of iOS 26.

I use Waze in CarPlay, and the voice search feature doesn't work at all as of upgrading to iOS 26.Waze listens, but then presents a blank screen where the search results should be. Sigh.

That's on Waze. Voice integration works on all the apps I've used it on so far.

To be expected. Same thing happened with iOS 7 ... took a while to get all the visual changes dialed in and cleaned up.
That's because Apple doesn't beta test anything anymore.

It's pathetic a 4 trillion dollar company has dollar store quality standards these days.

Yes, for music in the Home Screen. Sorry, I should have been more specific. In iOS 26 (and previous), the progress bar showed, but in 26.1b1 they made the album art bigger so the progress bar no longer shows.

Of course they do. A lot. But given that iOS is one of their few schedule driven release cycles, they frequently have to make decisions on which bugs get resolved before release and which will be fixed over time.

Visual adjustments are going to be lower priority than functional issues... and with complete UX overhauls like we saw with iOS 7 and iOS 26, there are going to be lingering visual tweaks.

Changes to stop button for alarm and the return of slide over for iPad are very welcome. Interesting to see a left aligned Folder name.

Fine with alarms, but timers too? I use my phone's timers a lot when cooking. It's nice to be able to tap with my little finger - or knuckles - to silence the timer when my hands are covered in flour or chicken juice, or whatever ingedient. Needing to drag that slimy finger over screen seems inelegant.

I can absolutely get why people want it for alarms, but on a timers might annoy me for cooking purposes. Let's hope they add a "ring the timer bell for 2 seconds and autostop" cooking-friendly setting.

My hopes are not high though.

I am happy for all the oversleepers though that their alarms will be harder to muck up.

Can I have the option when the alarms goes to just tap to stop? What if I decided I didn’t wanna get up sliding it that makes me alert and then I can’t go back to sleep. You should give that option.
