Yes, not a fan of the slide. How about just make the buttons farther apart so you don’t accidentally tap the wrong one.Don’t like the changes.
I’m not gonna slide to turn off my alarm when I’m half asleep.
And I absolutely hate left align on the folders. Centre looks better.
Centered text tends to be harder to read when there’s more than just a line or two, and because some of these areas need to be consistent, it’s a change applied to both 1/2 liners and longer paragraphsAnd what is a practical or aesthetic benefit of left-aligning the text and titles, instead of keeping it centred, as now? 🤷🏻♂️
So we go from a home screen folder icon with the folder name centered under the bottom --> to a blown-up version with the folder name left-aligned on the top? +1 to inconsistency.
Just tell Siri to stop. That’s one thing it can do, based on my experience.Fine with alarms, but timers too? I use my phone's timers a lot when cooking. It's nice to be able to tap with my little finger - or knuckles - to silence the timer when my hands are covered in flour or chicken juice, or whatever ingedient. Needing to drag that slimy finger over screen seems inelegant.
I can absolutely get why people want it for alarms, but on a timers might annoy me for cooking purposes. Let's hope they add a "ring the timer bell for 2 seconds and autostop" cooking-friendly setting.
My hopes are not high though.
I am happy for all the oversleepers though that their alarms will be harder to muck up.
Apple finally heard you. They are aware: we’re having these final results call in October and more sales are always better. There is this one guy that was holding out buying an iPhone because of this one thing…I’ve been waiting for years for the folder name alignment thing. This is why I never bought an iPhone until now.
It’s healthy for mind and body to sometimes to new stuff.Slide to snooze is a massive change in muscle memory.
With the search bar and controls in Safari full-size (not collapsed), pull up on the search bar like you’re multitasking pulling up the home bar and the window will shrink to the tab view.I wish Apple could bring back "All Tabs" button back in the browser page. I do not like tapping on that "three dots" button and then I get that "All Tabs" button option. It feels like an extra step. iOS 18 Safari had that "All Tabs" button right on the browser page.
Thanks for the tip. This gesture worked. With the search bar and controls in Safari full-size (not collapsed), pull up on the search bar like you’re multitasking pulling up the home bar and the window will shrink to the tab view.
That slide to stop alarm change needs to come to the watchOS sleep alarm!
The fact that they're updating icons and text alignment in the .1 release should tell you just how rushed the .0 release was.The fact the wallpaper wasn’t updated in display settings is actually disappointing for Apple standards
No it just shows UI bugs don’t have priority. The fact that they're updating icons and text alignment in the .1 release should tell you just how rushed the .0 release was.

Scrolling?Plz just fit keyboard lag when typing and contacts page why clicking it goes to iCloud select before you contacts. Also when deleting music from Apple Music you shouldn’t have to scroll down to see delete music

I welcome the slide to turn off. I always turn off the alarm when I intend to snooze it while I'm still half awake.Don’t like the changes.

Sorry, not here to discuss with you based on a made up percentage number. What does, then? ..because 90% of the iOS update, from 18, is the UI.
