Remove all the ugly white borders:
Slide the following slider to Off:
Settings/Accessibility/Display & Text Size/Show Borders
Hope they fix the Photos app. Pics and screenshots were always full screen up until ios 18, and then they fixed it in base 26 release, but now photos aren't full screen again in 26.1

The new setting for AirDrop for 30 days is a nice addition. Reminder alarms are also good. Good to see a slider for liquid glass on lock screen. Flashing the screen for alerts will also be beneficial.
It’s going to be annoying, but as the typical phone now has so many notifications it’s hard to distinguish important things from the morass of marketing notifications that Apple allows apps to send (they’re guilty of the same thing).
Alarm for Reminders is probably the best for me on the list. I’ve wanted this feature for a long time!
Reminders should have an accessibility “feature” where I can hide the number of ‘reminders’ in lists.

It was already off, there are still irritating and distracting white borders on icons and widgets.
Why do so many online posters have this weird inability to understand that other people might have different opinions to them, and that they personally might not be in the majority?
Try reading anything about liquid glass and you'll learn that it is a nightmare for readability and usability, the presence of distracting white borders is widely criticised. You might not have a problem with it, but plenty of other people do. As for the pop ups about game mode that cover up game UI elements every single time you lunch a game and can't be turned off, I challenge you to find one single person who genuinely finds them consistently useful.
Staying on 18 until 26 allows you to turn Liquid Glass entirely off.
Has anyone been able to test wireless CarPlay with an iPhone 17pro? Sure hope they have fixed the CarPlay bugs with the iPhone 17 Pros. Totally unusable as of the latest IOS 26.1 beta!! Constant disconnects and attempts to restart.
Well, not fixed. Crapped out almost right away. Starting to regret my iPhone 17 Pro buy. Hard to live without functioning wireless CarPlay while commuting!!
