I was really hoping this update would fix the iMessage issue?
Has anyone been able to find a fix for when messages can not download and index all messages and photos to iMessage? I have tried everything and nothing works. Reached out to apple and they said it's a well known issue and that they are working on it.
If anyone knows a turnaround please let me know.

I think you mean a workaround?

If you have another device on iOS 18 you could probably turn off Messages in iCloud and download all of them to it, then make a backup, and restore your iOS 26 device from that backup.
