can't believe there are still people here that think apple can fix Siri lol
They paying a lot of money for the Gemini model or at least giving away some share they’re making with the google search as a standard setting.
At some point we will see these improvements but I’m still skeptical about this on-screen awareness feature they did show at WWDC 2024.

I don't understand all the hate. 26.4 looks like a great update and fills in some features Apple has fallen behind on.

I understand the community is disappointed in Apple of late. Yes, the first-party apps have all fallen way behind, the world has moved to AI, and Apple's contribution looks like, for the first time in the company's history, that they don't get it and are catching up. And God help us, the Liquid Glass and basic, basic, basic, UI sloppiness. But 26.4 shows hope--along with recent hiring--that Apple is going to take software outside of what builds their ecosystem and subscriptions seriously.

I, for one, was happy to read this article.
We need more positivity around here! ❤️

The entire update is pointless without the updated Siri. Why Craig still has a job… Who knows. Tim needs to grow a pair, that’s why people don’t like him.

Would guess so. At this point and the rumours I don’t expect any new Siri stuff before iOS 27.
Might be too negative and happy to be wrong here.
Happy to be wrong as well. But at this point, I'll wait for what is [hopefully] a more thorough implementation.

When are they going to fix this persistent bug with Find My not actually showing devices locations. Side-by-side next to my iPad mini still on iOS 18, and I can audibly ping all devices and show their location properly. Fails on iPhone running 26.3.

Hopefully you can turn off video podcasts feature. I personally have zero use for it (though I primarily use Pocket Casts), but occasionally listen via Apple Podcast app.
