Talk to me when Shortcut has finally grown a spine and turn off data for individual applications.
I found a way around this by creating a shortcut that opens settings pane for the app you want so you can quickly toggle mobile data off by going directly there. This also has it so it turns off WiFi when I launch the shortcut because I block facebook at dns level on my router. With one tap it turns off WiFi, go straight to facebook app settings where I can enable mobile data. Once I’m done with facebook, I click the shortcut again, it enables WiFi, launch settings, I turn off mobile data for facebook. I hate facebook but have to check it for work few times a day.

The shortcut is simple but my explanation here is not lol:

Tim Apple requiring a 2 TB cloud plan in order to use Apple Intelligence features is a hell of a move after being sued for announcing AI features that never came.

Siri voice expressivity is a great feature. I’d bang it all the way to least expressive as I use chatbots for information not algorithmic faux opinion. I do think Apple needs to make their sliders stepped, however, so users can know where they like to set stuff like UI translucency and voice expressivity and so forth. It’s nice to be able to set all of your devices to the same settings, be that selection zero, step 4 of 12, or whatever selection. I love how on Mac you can set keyboard backlight, display and volume to any one of 16 steps and know that every time. I set my beach waves to volume 6 of 16. That’s perfect for sleep. Quality-of-life.

All of Apple’s touch-based operating systems need stepped sliders that work similarly to how the Mac handles this stuff. Volume on iOS has 16 steps, but visually you can’t see them. You should be able.

AI has not achieved a profitable stage. It is a huge waste of energy and resources overall. B2B doesn’t validate the end product; they are in a state of exchanging money. But here’s the big issue: all of those mass-market AI applications should ultimately be used by people to be profitable, but as we see, smart people don’t want it. So, in general, it’s a big problem. I can explain it simply: 5 traders sell bread to each other, making good money, but for it to be profitable in the end, this bread should be bought by the end customer, you, the simple user, who doesn’t want it…

We have another side for the closed AI implementation for the government’s and others private sectors; they need your data for training as much as possible, and this is why you have so many “AI” app holes for feeding

The charging bug, I'm not the only, when you plug your iPhone, it doesn't charge, you need to plug/unplug a lot until it charges... this is a very messy bug since I sometimes think that my phone is charging but it's not !

I don’t have it, have you checked your port, cable and charger?

Does Sirii in ios27 support regional accents like the current Siri voice? Although I live in the US and am a US Citizen, I like to use the UK female voices for Siri. If they don’t support regionalization I will probably pass on the AI Siri, assuming you can in Ios27.

As of now there is only US voice Siri. But menu for selecting region is there, so might be coming later.

I'm sure you've already done so, but have you checked for lint in the charging port? My old 13 mini used to have this problem until I used a SIM ejector to clean its port.

Alternately, have you tried with a different cable?

Question about Apple Music. Has it always been the case that, when showing song lyrics, the words that in a song a sang long (like agaiiiiiiinnnnnnn or something) have the letters increase in size and wiggle? I haven't noticed that before. It might be just me noticing now and it might have been there in like forever. Still, a fun little thing to help you sing along. Now, if AirPods would be so smart as to understand when I am singing along (admittedly not a great singer) and not just stop playing and switching to transparency it would be really great...

The port seems fine, but from what I heard online, it's really an iOS 27 bug... btw it just happened after updating to iOS 27... it's iOS 27 ! so idk...

I've honestly got no idea. I've never encountered this bug but it seems like a pain in the arse to have. I hope they'll address it in the next beta.

You realize it for that is HKSV which most people that use HKSV will already have 2T plan.

Can I finally have a keyboard the first time I open a Message or Messenger thread without having to back out and go back into it?

My iPhone 13 behaved like this after updating to iOS 18, so I thought 18 broke it. But it turned out it was dirt in the charging port. I could not see it, but a college of mine could, so after he helped me clean it, everything went back to normal.

It just was a pure coincidence it stoped charging shortly after the SW update.

the control buttons on the lock screen have too much "whiteness" surrounding them, and too little liquid glass elements, which make them stick out like a sore thumb.

I don't have the bug. That is a headache for those who do have it though.

Not seeing that Siri voice customization screen on my iPhone 17, Beta 3.

EDIT: which is weird, because I remember setting something similar in Beta 1, and I set the pace to about 118%.
