There is a "Reduce Bass" toggle in Settings.

Indeed, most audio products have a nice simple external control. With the 'Reduce Bass' option it applies to the source and you need to change it back if you use another device.

Wait until you hear it with 2 less tweeters! 😉

It might improve things, that said the Home Pod Mini was just as bad.

it's bad when young ears also need subtitles... so many older friends complain about how they can't understand dialogue these days. nice to be able to reassure them it isnt only them.
