Well you may as well sell it now. The first weekend when Apple announced one million iPhones were sold, that should have told you how it was gonna be. I personally think it's great that everyone can now have one of these amazing phones. They can see what I have been able to enjoy for over a year now. When I was in line, there was a mom with her young teenage kids and she was buying them all phones as well.

Oh, I'm also a homeowner, have two new vehicles, newly landscaped yard and I have two iPhones all for my usage and I don't fit yours or the other persons profiles of who should own an iPhone.

cool man!

i was just using that as example..dont take it so literal

congrats on all your new stuff though

well NOW, the point still remains

you can barely afford to pay for your living expenses, yet you AND your husband are splurging on two cell phones you can barely afford

and yet youre trying to prove ME WRONG?

youre just upset, because this post is talking about you

and no i dont own anything, im a 20 year old student..

I usually hate to play the age/responsibility game, but your posts are showing your immaturity. If you don't understand that people choose what to pay for based on their priorities, you have a long way to go.

The people who choose to save on cars and/or furnishings in order to max out their retirement funds and other savings are the people who are going to be sitting comfortably later on. The fact that she and he husband choose to save doesn't mean that they can't afford to spend.

And I find it interesting that this is what you chose to register up talk about: the fact that you, a 20 year old college student, feel able to be the arbiter of who is "worthy" of owning an iPhone. Amazing.

did you not hear me?? I said that the phones are through the business that we BOTH work for that is actually owned by myself and my mom. I CAN pay my bills and STILL afford to create a rather substantial portfolio for mine and my husbands retirement, and i'm 26. What about you? How much money do you put into your IRA account monthly? What, NONE? do you even know what an IRA is?

Spending wisely and budgeting is smarter than just spending what you have. And even if i DID pay for my phone, what would that say about me? I can still pay my bills, i can still feed myself and my animals, all i had to do was save up a little by cutting back on other things.

Even people who struggle financially are still entitled to getting themselves little gifts. Its what keeps you SANE! The ONLY time i would EVER judge someone who had a NICE gadget when they had to scrounge for money was if they were on welfare or owed people money and spent it on luxury items.

If you can pay for your bills on time and feed yourself and kids (if you have them) then there is NO REASON not to slurge.) seriously. My parents were VERY VERY low income growing up. They worked a lot to be able to feed us and keep a roof over our heads. As a kid, i NEVER knew that we didnt have much money. My parents would say "you cant have a happy meal, theyre too expensive" but it never clicked that they really were TOO EXPENSIVE.. ya know WHY i never knew, because my parents spent money SMART> they still were able to buy me and my brother and sister the fun new toy, and they still got their own little toys... and they never missed their mortgage

well im glad youre doing so well for yourself

i was just trying to prove MY point, wether you agreed with it or not

no hard feelings.

and yes, it is quite amazing

No one has a choice in their name.. =but people DO have a choice in how they "operate" but obviously no one taught you otehrwise. Your parents did a POOR job.. and ya know what.. you are ONLY getting nasty because you are wrong. and its becomng more and more obvious.
