Oooh "Magic Toolbar"That sounds expensive...
Wonder if there is developer API access.
I'd love to be able to have a custom Avatar or Image of some sort somewhere as well just for vanity sake.
I want to write a red strobe LED, like Knight Rider.
I hope they'd do a wired one. Wireless might be a bit trickier when you factor in battery life. We'll know soon enough, though!
It should have been called AmazingToolBar. Because you can count on Tim Cook saying "It's Amazing!".

Apple is so corny sometimes. "Magic toolbar"? Methinks Tim Cook came up with that one on his own. I can't stand that doofus.

As do I. But after ten years on Macs my muscle memory doesn't extend beyond the qwerty keyboard and modifier keys. I'm always checking the function keys before pressing them. I know that the volume keys are roughly to the right, and the brightness somewhere on the left, but still need to look before hitting any of them.
So long the keys on the touch bar are laid out in a reasonably predicable manner, I don't see anything lost here.
and they probably had to remove the magsafe and headphone jack to accommodate this new "feature".
2017 they'll extend this oled display all the way down and the keys will have haptic force touch to simulate key press.
or just release an iPad Pro with mac OS instead.

I dunno why but "Magic Toolbar" made me LMAO... thanks Apple and Mac Rumors for starting my work day off right.

Forget the toolbar, I'm dying to know how the battery life will be on the new Macbook pro. Battery life will be one of the biggest reasons myself and others will upgrade our old Macs!
Magic Inc. releases the new MagicBook Pro on October 27. Comes with Magic Toolbar and magicOS preinstalled. MagicPhone 8 is coming in 2017. MagicCar failed. MagicPod discontinued. MagicWatch will get a new set of magic Magic Bands including the magic Magic Band Magic Edition. After the presentation some clowns will perform on stage and show you some magic. What the hell is Apple's obsession with magic? They think that everything they come up with is magic. We made a mouse with no buttons or comfort, it's magic. Made a laptop trackpad a separate device from the laptop, it's magic. We put an integrated battery inside the Apple Wireless Keyboard, it's now magic. We replaced keys with a touch screen, it's magic.
