Excellent review on Engadget! 30+ hours battery!!!

I love this. I can't wait to see this screen in person.

So 30+ hours of battery life, and they can't allow 3rd party apps to use background data services?

That is a 3GS feature. You can enable it in the usage page in settings.
 
3GS and above only for native iOS.

You can probably get one for 3G via jailbreak/cydia.

Frankly the way they've implemented multitasking is a big reason the battery life runs so long...they minimize the resources used to only those necessary rather than everything. Brilliant!
 
I have to admit the battery life on this phone is amazing! Can't wait until the contract between ATT and Apple expire!

It could easily have been given to 3G users. There were lots of excuses why a year ago, but they’re lame. The claim that it is wildly inaccurate is ridiculous. I use this feature on my jailbroke 3G.
